All you can eat Korean BBQ ($27/person for dinner). This place is massive and very popular. For 90 minutes, you can order any... item on the menu. Limited vegetarian options, but they did have several types of seafood. The waiters will change your grillfrequently. Staff were extremely kind and attentive. For the couple of times I've been here, I'm not the biggest fan of it. Yeah, everyone has a big hype about the place, but with... being a Korean all you can eat place, you of course cook the food yourself. But I can atleast say, the place is okay, with allthe people who come in...it gets really smoky inside the building. Don't get me wrong, the food is good. But this place is morefor those who have a matter of preference towards it. Some people like it, some people...not really. But none the less. It's aplace to try and eat at. So come try it out. Our Navy son took us here our last evening of our Hawaiian vacation. Not too far from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, this place... is huge! It gets packed, too, so hit it at the right time. We got seated quickly and our hostess was already communicating withour server about drinks and the first meats we wanted to cook. There?s a grill in front of you and they bring you the meat tocook yourself. Real Korean barbecue, authentic. Sides were tangy-sweet: pickles, cucumbers, kimchee, and sangchae, great offsetto the savory meats. We tried spicy chicken, spicy pork bulgogi, beef bulgogi, spare ribs, bacon. Comes with a side of steamedrice?which I regret eating because it filled up my gut and I couldn?t put down anymore meat. Love this place. Read more
Absolutely 0 complaints. The food was very plentiful. The price was one you couldn?t beat. There?s many meat options on the menu... so it was great to sample out different choices. Gen Korean BBQ House has a cool vibe, and concept but the service was subpar. Asked questions about the food/seasoning due to... a food allergy, and our server didn't come back to our table until our second round of protein was served. Took a long time toget their attention for water or drink fill-ups. Read more
Absolutely worth the money. The food was great, and the servers were really attentive and polite. The sides were delicious and... we had good company. Really enjoyed the food and the environment. Definitely a new favorite place. Make sure to go before 6 p.m.on the weekends, it gets really busy at the Pearl Ridge location. We tried to go to the Ala Moana location, but that was wayyyytoo packed. You are given 2 hours to dine, but it's more than enough time. Definitely go here! Read more
Must have vaccination card for entry. Great customer service and amazing food. Be ready to cook, we got there like around 3:00... so there was no wait. Be sure to try the rice and tofu soup, great sides. Enjoy! Read more
