Pizza is perfect! Have tried the Capricciosa and Vesuvius so far and they?ve been the best pizzas I have ever had. On the... pricier end. I wish it was more a full serve restaurant and did not have the self serve style. But regardless the pizza isdelicious. Read more

Aiken, I hope you realize the absolute TREASURE you have (I don?t think you do, considering the ?foodie edition? of what to do... in Aiken doesn?t even include this GEM). Im from up north and am always on the hunt for a good pizza place. (My daughter and Igo drive to different pizza places) I live north of Columbia and drove an hour and a half to get there and I will absolutely bedoing it at least once a month now. As far as I?m concerned my search is over. New haven style pizza is considered some of thebest pizza in the world, this guy is FROM there and has brought every piece of that truth with him. The crust, cheese, andsauce are all delicious. And the service was great as well. Read more

I don't normally like pizza, the pizza I ordered was amazing. Appetizer also better than I thought possible for a pizza place.... Great flavor, very nice staff. Clean. Read more

This is my favorite pizza place in the area. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to pizza so I always get the margherita pizza... but I've had bites of other pizzas and they're all good. The crust is just the right texture and the sauce is fresh. Aftereating here I feel full but not bogged down like I do when I eat other pizzas, especially big chain restaurant pizzas that areway too salty and greasy. For the appetizer, I always like to get the meatballs. The red sauce that the meatballs come in isperfect. I highly recommend their cannoli as well. It has a hint of orange in it so it is different than other cannoli I havehad but it is great. Read more

Pizza like in Italy. I went yesterday with my husband and we loved the pizza. I have been many times in Italy, and that's how... authentic pizza should taste. And the dessert was delicious. Everyone was very nice and we had a good time. Read more

I would give negative stars if I could. My entire family said the food was gross and definitely not worth the price. Papa John's... pizza and other chain pizza places are better than this. I had authentic Italian pizza recently on a trip and expected it to begood like that, but it wasn't. The salad wasn't good, the pizza was so thin and flimsy that I couldn't even hold it in my hands, there was barely any cheese on the pizza and the crust was almost nonexistent, and the dessert was horrible - I'm a huge dessertperson and the fact that I had to force myself to eat the dessert is a big statement. We were excited for the dessert so weordered many different options to try all and it was a huge mistake. The bill was over $100 and it should NOT have been thatexpensive since it was not filling at all and it was gross. The worst part is that the owner is not a friendly person. Ioverheard him and another customer arguing at the table next to us. He told the customer that if he didn't like it, he shouldleave. The customer was very upset and asked the owner if he didn't care that his customers were upset. The owner should nothave been arguing with his customers. That was very unprofessional especially since you rely on your customers to keep yourbusiness going. Read more

A friend in Augusta recommended this hidden gem when I mentioned that my husband had been on a pizza kick lately. We drove... around an hour to get to an unassuming location in a strip mall. We were greeted upon entry and told to pick a table numberthen order at the front counter for dine in. There are two tables outside and tables and booths inside. After you order, pickup plates, silverware, and drink cups. You pay after eating. Carbonated drinks and water are self-serve. We ordered thegarlic Parmesan cheese curds and they were so good. You could tell these thinly breaded curds were handmade. This appetizerwas piping hot and delicious without being overwhelming. The pizza came out hot - a thin, hand-tossed pie and quality sauce. You can taste the difference in this wood-fired crust. We made the mistake of ordering two pizzas but one could easily beshared. At least we got to taste two different toppings, though! I built my own with extra cheese, ground beef, and spinachand my husband got the Carcerato. Our dessert cannoli came after they cleared the plates and brought a box for leftover pizza, and the server also brought two fresh forks. The cannoli was at a cool temperature and the custard inside was fresh, creamyricotta marked with citrus overtones. The regular cannoli was a great size for sharing and a perfect finish to the meal, butthe mini cannolis sound like fun options too. There is a great appetizer and dessert menu for a location focused on pizza, andI would come back if we are nearby. Read more
