Poor, slow service. We were there at 4:30 with parents. Place was empty, took forever for server to come to table. Then was at... least 20 minutes for food to get to table. Meatloaf looked like it had been run over by a car. Hamburger steak fried to a crisp.Shrimp crispy also. Food not Cracker Barrel standard. Won't be back to this location. Read more

Ugh. Went to Cracker Barrel in Aiken. Very disappointing. Kim the manager had somewhat of an attitude, because we complained... about the eggs she wanted to know if we were having a good day. Always enjoyed dining at Cracker Barrel in the past. Last two times, not so great. Last time my mashed potatoes were cold and... gravy congealed. Tonight took an excessive amount of time to get our order. Manager came out and stated the ticket showedorder had been placed 13 minutes ago. Informed her it had been placed about 20 minutes before she passed by the 1st time whenshe was going around and checked on us (as they do when they are going from table to table to check on their patrons). Ourutensils were wet, like they had just been rinsed. One of our forks was dirty and my plate (when it came) had gravy all overone side of the bottom where it had been sitting on my husbands food. Saw our waitress only twice. When she took our order andwhen she finally brought it. Never checked to offer a refill on drinks. Ended up paying $45.83 for 3 meals. I didn?t touchmine and my husband didn?t finish his. We started to previously get up and politely leave but was told by the manager that weshould get our dinner in about 5 minutes. Wish we had left. I realize staffing is short in a lot of places but feel the waittime/staffing should be mentioned up front. Wish I had taken pics of the above but didn?t realize you could post pictures. We stopped here cause the signs advertised beer and fried chicken...no fried chicken they were all out. Our server was so sweet... and nice. With only 6 days of serving under her belt, Emmy did great despite the restaurant not having all menu items. Read more
Strawberry cheesecake pancakes, bacon eggs. I ordered eggs over easy but got fried eggs. Sent those back. My Sweetheart's order... wasn't right either & he never received his biscuits & gravy and his eggs were scrambled so hard he didn't eat them. Not good. I wasn?t expecting a Michelin star experience or anything but goodness my meal was horrible. The potatoes were cold,... the roast beef was unpleasant, they didn?t have any cornbread and the pinto beans (not pictured) were inedible. Had a great visit here. I enjoyed some of the eye candy working here as well. The food was decent as well, though someone needs... to tell the cook how to tell the difference between Medium Rare and Medium Well for a stake. (Asked for the Well - GotRare). Sarah! You rock!! She was my server and was very attentive and friendly. She came out with a smile every time, and wasvery open with conversation. I've met 3 great waitresses in this area now, her being number 3.
