Sandwich and salad combination was excellent. Made to order, a robust serving portion with quality ingredients. Tuna salad was... great. Wifi available. Read more

If Betsy's is full or grits are your favorite breakfast meal, this place is worth a try. The grits and biscuits are better than... Betsy's but the atmosphere and service are not quite as good. The menu here was what you find at most solid southern breakfastjoints with the star being the multiple ways to order your grits. If you want a standard southern breakfast done well give thisplace a try Read more

Food is great. Service was wonderful but note order and pay at front counter then take a number and put it on your table. Pay... cash for a discount. Read more

This is a low touch service restaurant. Order and pay at the counter as you come in, self service drinks, silverware and... condiments. Seat yourself with a number and soon your food comes out by the server. Eat, bail viola. The level of disgust onthe face of the cashier when I chose to not tip in my card before ever sitting down was off-putting and frankly offensive.Tipping is a should do and should be comensurate with the service received. Happy to leave cash at then end and did. On too thefood. Barely edible, sausage biscuits and gravy tasted like uncooked flour. Pops hash browns both largely overcooked to blackand brown with no tenderness left, sitting in a pile of frying oil with over medium eggs that were hardly half done. End to endterrible. Will not return. Read more

What a beautiful, local experience. Hands down, this is the best restaurant with homey vibes in Aiken yet. This place feels... nostalgic, I needed a place for inspiration so that I could write again and I found it here! Aiken has always been my home, Iwas born and raised here. This place is by far the best restaurant I've been to in this area. I love the coffee house music thatplays, it's very retro and gives me new ideas and clarity. I had the Spinach Bacon Salad!! It was absolutely AMAZING! If you'regoing for breakfast, you have to get the grits. I added cheese in mine, they are the best grits I've ever had hands down (and Iwas raised on grits!). I had the Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake with my lunch today and it was worth every penny. The pricesare beyond reasonably for the amount of food you get on your plate and the quality of each bite. I am not over exaggerating whenI tell you, if you're looking for a place to eat that has an "Aiken-feel" and right in the historical part of cozy downtownAiken, look no further than "What's Cookin'". You're welcome. Oh! I told you so. ???? Read more

Nice atmosphere and menu selection. Maybe a tad bit High on the price side, but you have to pay to eat Downtown Aiken. I enjoyed... a wonderful salad that was well stocked with goodies. I also had a delightfully hot bowl of chili that tasted like what mymother used to make. If you haven't experienced What's Cookin', you should put it on your Downtown Aiken dining bucket list. Absolutely awesome food and service! I had "The Shealy Burger" with tater tots, everything was hot and fresh. Not a long wait... even though they were pretty busy at lunch time. Read more
