I went a few weeks ago but could not find the receipt for the date and time that I was there. Now I have it. I took an employee... there for lunch and was very very disappointed. First it took a while to get a server but when we did he offered six wings getsix wings free, which is what I went with also offered 10 wings get 10 wings free to my employee. When the food came out and weonly got 10 and 6 we asked why and he said oh it was the wrong day and that he was incorrect. Out of the 10 wings that he got hegot all drums except for one. Out of my six wings that I got, I got five drums and 1 flat. He did not come to tell us anythingbefore we actually got our food and the wings were small. Also I Ordered onion rings. They were so greasy I could not eat themand I told him that but he did not take them off the check. All in all the whole meal was not good. Read more
4th time here. Ordered an appetizer and 25 nuggets. Waited 30 minutes only for them to tell us they were out of nuggets. Finally... brought the wings (no appetizer). 1 hour and 45 minutes later we were finally able to leave. After waiting 10 minutes for thecheck. Has always been a terrible experience for waiting. Staff was very friendly. Food was sub-par. Fries were cold/old but server brought fresh ones. Kids got pizza and it was very... soggy and nothing but sauce with a little cheese. Sold out of most of the mild sauces, servers tried to bring several otheroptions but they were all more on the spicy side. Wait time was crazy even though they weren't very busy. Even saw one of thekitchen workers vaping in the kitchen in full view of the window. Was not impressed and no desire to return. Wait staff was verykind so this was not really on them. Read more
Terrible. Took 45 minutes just to get water. The host Jay did step up to the plate and starting getting drinks for us. After... another 25 minutes went by he notice our server still hadn't come over. Jay then started taking orders. Others were experiencingthe same issue and this young man who was not a waiter started helping people. He was awesome but the rest of the experience wasterrible. After waiting over an hour and half our food came out but we were short an order. That was the first time we saw ouractual waiter and at that time she informed us they were out of what we ordered. After speaking with the manager she told usthe waiter had been told 30 minutes ago that they were out of this particular item. We were never offered a discount or or anykinda of solution by the manager just that she was happy we liked Jay so much. Probably won't go back. I don?t even know where to start. Went in around 10:30, just wanting some chicken wings. Which turned out to be a terrible... decision! We ordered our food around 10:45, didn?t get it until 11:40. Even then we were missing BOTH of our orders of fries. Ilooked at my mutant chicken wings thinking WTH!? I asked the waitress why they looked like that & her response was: ?we haven?tgotten a truck so i think they had to run to walmart & get wings?. More like ran to the farm & butchered something! Then wefinally get our french fries, which was supposed to be 2 separate orders. She brings them & says ?this is a shareable basket?,which would be slightly okay if they weren?t DRENCHED in what tasted like putrid old grease! The togo order of tater tots wasjust the same! So after waiting almost an hour, my food wasn?t even edible! Thankfully the boneless wings were okay, probablybecause they came out of a bag from the walmart freezer isle too! I?ve tried to eat here twice now, months apart, only to be metwith awful food & sub par service! I only gave 2 stars because our waitress was thankfully very sweet & understanding, & thefood was taken off of our check after i complained! For a ?wing place?, this is an awful choice. Please figure it out! We used to go every Friday and sit at the bar. We learned that sitting at the bar meant better service. I... think Reuben and Carmen would make sure that we got our food quickly. Some of the other male bartenders not so much. We used tobring all of our out of town company to eat here with us every time they came to visit. However, the last several times, weended up with cold food. Let's face it - anyone who has eaten here knows that there's a wait for food. I don't mind terribly ifthe food takes a little longer because it really is good food when it's hot. Once we waited an hour for an order of 30 wingsonly to find out that they were out of some of the sauces that we ordered AN HOUR BEFORE. Meanwhile, half of our table receivedour food and were forced to eat in front of people who were waiting... That same night we had to go to the bar to get waterbecause we sat so long after ordering drinks. Let's get this figured out before y'all go out of business! We really do enjoysitting at the bar, watching the old videos or listening to live music. The menu is great and we'd love to start coming back,but we're afraid to waste our time. *It starts with the kitchen.* Good servers cannot make a living if they are losing tips dueto slow food orders. Went to our local Wild Wings Cafe in Aiken. My husband and I have been there several times and never had a problem with food nor... service. The bright spot was that our server/bartender was very nice and refilled drinks promptly. While we were there, at nogiven time were there more than 4 tables with customers, but an entire booth of employees goofing off. The food was not evenLuke warm. The Nashville hot sandwich had chicken that was barely a tender size, 3 pickles less than the size of a penny, noseasoning, no sauce, and so tough that I couldn't even eat 3/4 of it. The curly fries were obviously the bottom of the bagbecause they were awful and not even warm. We have had friends eat here one time and complain about the food and service... wealways were quick to point out that we have never had a problem. Tonight, however, the food was not even edible. I havenever worked in a restaurant kitchen before, but I know that I would be hard pressed to serve something that I knew looked awfuland wasn't even remotely warm. Someone needs to help this place. Without help, it will be the next place to close inAiken. Update... was contacted by a district manager. Told us more training would be done. Asked us to try again. Did not offerrefund. I love wild wings Cafe, sadly our experiences have gotten far less enjoyable. The staff is friendly, but the quality of food has... dropped as prices have increased significantly. Food that did cost $10 with generous portions have become $14.99 and looked asthough the chicken tenders were cut into fourths. Tack on the new decision to charge for sauces...you're easily looking at $22+per adult, without a beverage. This along with previous pickup and online orders issues, It's difficult to recommend at thispoint. Dine in experience is solid but the price to quality or even quantity is not good. Read more
