Overall, super poor experience. There was a hair in my food, never got a refill for our table?s water for the entire duration of... our meal, and we were given a very obviously unwashed plate (food stains and sauce marks all over). Food is below mediocre,customer service was not good but still left a good and fair tip considering the bare minimum wasn?t even reached for ourexperience. Will never come back here again. Read more
Haven't eaten at Applebee's in a long time. Food was good, my Stella tasted off, but I did not complain, my waitress was great... and I am sure she would have replaced it .. we had a party of 8 and everyone enjoyed their food. Read more
We live in montreal and when we go to totonto we always stop by applebees cause we LOVE the mac and cheese with the chicken... strips. As usual it was delicious and I took the shark bowl drink wich was enormous ! My husband had to finish it forme. The food is absolutely delicious. The service was 10/10. We were in a hurry to get to Toronto to see a performance and they... did an excellent job in getting our order into the kitchen, bill ready, and leftovers ready to go. Would recommend again! Our server was wonderful, the service and timing was excellent unfortunately the food was just ok. My mom wanted to go because... they are so good in the US, not the same experience here. We had the Oriental Chicken Salad (get with the times Applebee's andrename that salad, Grilled Teriyaki Salad is a good substitute!) BLT, Homestyle Chicken Bowl and a kids shrimp & fries. My dining experience at the Applebee's in Toronto was very pleasant. Although I live in the states (Virginia), I haven't visited... an Applebee's in at least 4 years, due to several unpleasant dining experiences, so dinner was very enjoyable and our serverwas great, considering she was the only server on duty when we visited (so sorry I forgot her name). Possibly some of the best service my family has gotten! The food was delicious, the pricing was fairly standard, and there were... plenty of really unique options, including crazy food mixes that I had never heard of, so it was cool trying new things! I wishthe patio set up was a bit more forgiving in terms of the sun. Read more
Went in today after lunch hour. People were leaving the restaurant unimpressed saying there were 2 groups of 30 from a hockey... tournament. The hostess advised us there would be a 10 minute wait which we were fine with. We got to our table 20 minutes laterand promptly ordered our drinks and starters. Our starters arrived in good time, however we had no cutlery or napkins. Thewaitress visited the table opposite ours 3 times, each time we tried to flag her attention but with no luck. I finally went tothe bar to ask for cutlery and she was very responsive in making that happen, but it seemed like there was a shortage in cutlerythroughout the restaurant, not just something that was overlooked. When we finally got our cutlery our starter was cold. Ourdrinks went without refills while we ate our mains. The fish and chips was horrible, the fries were good but the fish was notfresh whatsoever and was rubbery. I would not recommend it to anyone. The burger, wings, and waffle poutine were good. The sodawas also disgusting, clearly the flavoring syrup was dissipated and the drink was mainly soda water. By far this was the worstexperience I have ever had in a restaurant, and the bill was $75 for complete disappointment all around. I understand thatthings get busy, but if you can?t accommodate large groups without disrupting operations, perhaps it is something that should berevisited. Will not be visiting again. Read more
