I can't say enough good things about this bakery! I visit almost weekly. My favourite are the savoury brioche buns with spinach... and cheese. I also love the frozen pizza dough. Yes, the prices are more then a conventional bakery, but anyone who has tried tosource and prepare keto/sugar free baked goods, knows it is not cheap and not easy or fast! I highly recommend! Love this place.. addicted to the freshness and quality! Doesn't spike blood sugar and feel guilt free indulging. Very... impressive nutrition facts, only downside are the prices but you definitely get what you pay for here. They sell out fast ofpopular items like muffins and croissants. Absolutely incredible place. Very clean, reasonably priced, super friendly service, but most importantly AMAZING... products!!!! Gluten-free, keto, sugar free.... you name it, they make it and it tastes better than any flour +sugar loadedpastries. I have no idea how this store managed to come up with recipes, but to say that they are magical, would be anunderstatement!!!! Love it, love it, love it..... and absolutely recommend it to All!!!! What a disappointment... I've had Choko Mocko desserts multiple times so I decided to order a birthday cake for my grandmother's... birthday. The cake was on the pricey side of ~$50 for a 6" strawberry shortcake. My expectations definitely weren't met when Icut the cake to reveal burnt, dry cake layers between thick icing. Myself and 3 of my family members are gluten free/vegan andcouldn't eat the cake. It was hard along the edges, dry and burnt (as seen in the photos) and most of it was thrown away. Iemailed the bakery on the same day (last Wednesday) to try to rectify the matter and the customer service I received was sounhelpful. Without any apology, Peter responded to "reassure me" that the cake I received "looks exactly the way all their cakeslook" and "the whole nut flours, seeds and sweeteners affect the colour". Complete disregard for the clearly burnt product I wasgiven. I've had many gluten free/vegan cakes from other shops and they might be darker in colour but they aren't burnt orhard/dry. I responded to Peter to let him know that I disagreed but my emails have been ignored since Friday. This bake shop isquick to accept your e-transfer but doesn't stand by their products or respond to customer concerns in an appropriate way. I'dnever order anything from here again. Read more
Sugar Free, Gluten Free and soooo delicious! I have tried many sugar free desserts and some of them just tasted so bad, but... these desserts are the best I have EVER tasted. A must try! Read more
Sloppy and unprofessional?.. I?ll never be back. Ordered a cake and was quoted a price. Picked up said cake and was charged... substantially more. The clerk called the owner at home, explained the situation and I was quickly dismissed. They had quotedone size and gave me another. Not my fault. I needed the cake, they had me over a barrel and took advantage of me. Quoted $65,charged $83 Shame on you Choko-Mocko? Like I said, sloppy and unprofessional shop. Avoid it at all cost.
