We went to Portly Piper with friends on Tuesday evening. First off, our server (Candice) was lovely. Our food however was just... ok. The braised beef on too of my Mac and cheese was really fatty, but had a nice flavor. My Mac and cheese however was bland. My son had the rib and wings combo. He really enjoyed the wings, but the ribs were full of fat. For the prices, I wouldexpect better quality of meat. We are on the fence as to wether we will go back again. Read more
The atmosphere of the place is great. Friendly staff, tasty food. Their sangria special was awesome. Just one tiny suggestion,... the portions are too big. Smaller portions with more affordable pricing would be great. Still, would recommend. Read more

The beer was great,. Food was not bad. But the service was bad,. Asked for water but never got it. The place was super loud,... can't even have a conversation. I had the wings and ribs combo,. Sauce was not bad but ribs was too soft... Should be just firmenough to taste like meat. Read more
Mar.5.22 - I'm hoping our next visit will be a better experience. The food was great, kudos to the kitchen staff! Issue came to... our waitress. Let me sum up this up in the most realest form. We could have made the decision to leave without paying the billand she wouldn't have noticed, but I made sure to find someone that worked there to pay the bill because our waitress wasnon-existent. It wasn't the busyness of the establishment it came down to customer service. There were 2 of us who dined hereand there was a party of close to 10 next to us. I ordered a drink - she says they do not have it & she was adamant that theestablishment did not sell the drink. I looked at the menu and it was on there. She seemed shocked it was there. It is eitherthe menu completely changed or she did not know the menu at all. She checked up on all other tables, especially the bigger groupnext to us and not once turned around and asked us if we needed anything. We asked for water, it took her a couple of minutes toprovide the water and upon receiving it she slammed the water glasses on our table and then turned immediately right away to thebigger table next to us and asked them if they needed anything and if they were okay. This was extremely off putting andcompletely rude and unacceptable to the point we asked for the bill. We received the bill and were waiting for her to come byand she didn't appear. so we gathered our left overs and proceeded to leave to find someone so we could pay the bill. I tipbase on experience and this was just completely unacceptable. The sheer lack of neglect is unacceptable. We understand that itwas a busy night, and staff is getting back to having busy periods during covid, however in this case, I could not justify usingthe return to pre-covid as a reason. So I really wanted to give this place a good rating however the plastic in my food was where I draw the line. We placed a online... order 5:39pm the food did not come out until 6:40pm. I kept asking how long they kept telling me it was coming and that went onfor 30 minutes. The quality of the food was good until I found plastic wrapping in my mash potatoes. As a lover of chicken wings, especially pub style chicken wings, this place is easily my favourite. The wings here amazing!... There’s such a huge variety of flavours to choose from. I usually stick with the spicy gar park and the bbq ranch. The dilldipping sauce is a nice added touch that adds an extra level of flavour to the wings. I suggest coming here on a Monday for halfpriced wings. This place is always packed so get here early. Read more
