Great little spot with excellent java & espresso. Aroma from the roasting hits your nose immediately as you walk in giving a... calming, relaxing effect. Went rogue and had the Maple Almond Cortado which was tres, tres, tres bien. Very unique littledrink. Music was great, service was excellent, and I banged out an hour of work between appointments. Anytime you have a coffee roaster in your local area, it is a must-visit. Akron Coffee Roasters does not disappoint. The... interior is small, but not unusually so for a downtown setting. The first thing that hits you as you open the door is the aromaof roasting coffee, which is a heavenly experience in and of itself. They have fun items on the coffee menu, but I always insiston a pour-over to enjoy the full expression of beautifully roasted beans. Nothing beats a fresh roast, and ACR?s roast does notdisappoint. Their small scale setup really... provides those who brew at home with the freshest beans possible as I was able to get a bag of beans that was roasted the dayprior to purchase! I love this coffee shop. They have another branch in Cuyahoga Falls called Asterix place. They make homemade almond milk at... both locations. It is so delicious. They make a Great cappuccino and Cortada. Both of their coffee shops are my favorite inSummit county. Read more
They have a new 2nd location at 2105 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Best coffee shop in a 50 mile radius. They roast their own beans... here. They make their own homemade almond milk here. The decaf is sugar processed not chemical. If you get a decaf cappuccinothey pack it extra tight so it?s very flavorful. They carry a local bakeries pastries. That local bakery uses all natural localingredients. The atmosphere is delightful the sun will shine in the windows in the early morning until about one or 2 PM. It?s agreat place to study or do work. There is a small night light Cinema right next-door which has seating during the day also theyshare with the coffee shop and it?s very quiet. They allow dogs. It?s just a delightful place with wonderful people and greatcoffee and pastries can?t say enough about this place. A year later and this is still my favorite coffee shop. Read more
Coffee was just so so, and the lids and plastic cups leak all over the place I had to keep a paper towel all around the cup. I... ordered with honey and cream and it was not very hot and I had no cream. My partner had their order incorrect also. Prices arefair. Definitely something for students trendy. But not for someone who loves coffee. Read more
