This is one of my go to Pub's with no complaints. However, on Saturday 10/15/2022 I went to watch the Guardian's and the... Yankee's. I order a tall Guinness but the Barmaid came back with a short Guinness and said that she had to because they largeglasses weren't cleaned but she clean one if I wanted her too. I let her know that I really want a large as that is the onlyone I planned on having. Then she went to speak with another Barmaid and then returned to tell me that they weren't servinglarge beers tonight. "REALLY, WOW!" Unusually poor service that night. Who does that!? Read more
Let me start by saying I am NOT a bar person. At all. However, for going on a Friday afternoon I was surprised at the laid back... atmosphere of the place. A little loud but that's to be expected. My husband promised they had good food and I was reallywanting some fried fish. I was so impressed with their fried fish and fries! Huge portion and both the fish and the fries wereAMAZING! The price was really great as well. Waitress apologized a few times saying she was new but she was excellent as well!We went a couple weeks ago and I've been craving their fish again since. Everything you could want from a south Akron hole in the wall bar. Great place to watch a game and grab a beer. Great food,... friendly service....it was very warm in there and employees didn't have control of temperature-- everyone was sweating lol otherthan that it was awesome! Read more
Authentic. Everything about this place is authentic, the food tastes and feels Authentic, the people who staff the place are... authentic and the atmosphere of the bar and loud music is authentic, the interior decorating is authentic. Our server Dana wassuper knowledgeable and helped tremendously with helping my wife decide what to order. This joint is very friendly to newcustomers and has incredible food. Decided to try this place out tonight. Hubby and I walked in and weren?t too sure where to sit. Dana approached us and gave us... some extra care since we were first timers. I wasn?t for sure what to pick to eat and she took the time to give her honestopinion and the public?s experience about what options I was debating on trying. I ordered the chicken tenders, pub fries andchili and my hubby got the FCP burger with onion rings. The food was absolutely delicious. The place and the food definitelybrought on feelings of nostalgia. It?s been a long time since I?ve been to a place that brought out such feelings in me. Read more
Third time going. Second bad experience. The bartender Christy is terrible. Bad attitude and bad service. I even addressed her... attitude and she said very sarcastically she didn?t have one. We ended up getting up and leaving before even ordering becauseher service was that bad. As we walked outside past the back door she was in the kitchen ranting about how she didn?t care thatwe left because she didn?t face time today.
