Excellent service and excellent food. Drinks were also good (I got the Crimson & Clover)! Would recommend the prix fixe... dinner; I got it with the mixed greens salad, salmon, and banana cream pie ice cream. Everything was delicious! The only thingthat I could complain about was that the steak was originally undercooked for my taste but they cooked it a bit longer uponrequest. Read more

A great variety of fish and seafood. Was very tasty and the server checked on us often. Overall a great dinning experience.

Average seafood place, the lobster bisque had like hot sauce in it and was too spicy for me to eat it (I’m a wimp when it... comes to spice but also lobster bisque shouldn’t be spicy, in my opinion), the shrimp and scallop entree came outlukewarm/cold but I had already sent back the soup and didn’t want to make a fuss. The chocolate brownie dessert was ok. Thegarlic broccoli side, lobster mash, and bee sting drink were both super delicious though. Read more

This upscale eatery has some of the best, freshest seafood for a restaurant not in an ocean coast. The Blue Point oysters were... delicious, plump and juicy. The minuet sauce served with them was just the right accent to add a burst of brightness. The wedgeCaesar Salad had hands down the best dressing I've had by far. It had just the right balance to it and a nice anchovy hint. Forthe main course I ordered the Kingfish trio of lobster tail, scallops, shrimp, lobster mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Thelobster tail was nice and sweet and of course paired well with the drawn butter. The scallops had a great sear and we'reperfectly cooked. Then there is the simple shrimp that was some how turned into some of the best shrimp I've tasted! I can'tpick out exactly why, but it was wonderful with the a small dollop of the seafood based sauce which contained a little brandyand was obviously flavored with lobster shells. The lobster mashed potatoes were the perfect starch for this dish along withperfectly cooked, crisp, tender, large stalk asparagus! For dessert I tried the creme brulee which was so silky and delicious. Iwould recommend this establishment for any special occasion, or just a great Saturday night dinner. Read more

First time I can recall going to a restaurant owned by Hospitality Restaurants but after this visit, I'm looking forward to... visiting others in the area. Their restaurants seem perfect for a special occasion. We celebrated three years together and ourrecent engagement. I had the Atlantic Cod dish recommended by our server Griffin. My fiancé had the crab cakes; both wheredivine to eat. Before that we had the lobster bisque and spring salad. Those where good portions and good choices to start ourmeal. For dessert we shared the keylime pie. An excellent way to close out the meal. Place was clean, staff and management wasattentive, and menu is solid. Hope to make a return back for another special occasion. Read more

As an overall dining experience, Kingfish deserves five stars. The dining room is softly lit and upscale looking. It's... pleasurable to have a welcoming host seat you and check on you during your meal. A server just to fill your water, and yetanother server to take your orders and serve your food and drink. If I had any complaints about the overall experience, it wouldbe that the music is a tad loud. Now...I came at an odd time of day, and the restaurant was nearly empty and very quiet, so thatmay be why the music seemed louder than I expected. I ordered a Bellini cocktail. I've seen pictures online, but never triedone. It was tasty, but not very attractive here, which was a slight disappointment. They have always looked prettier inpictures. For an appetizer I chose the lobster bisque, and it was excellent. Very savory and creamy. A bread service was alsoprovided, consisting of warm slices of sourdough bread and butter. I love sourdough bread, so I was delighted. So flavorful, andit was literally steaming, moist with a firm crust. The attention to detail in the piped butter was visually delightful. Ichose the trio for my main course. Shrimp, lobster tail and scallops, with lobster mashed potatoes and asparagus. I won't lie.I'm an American accustomed to large portions for my money. And this menu choice was probably the most expensive on the menu. Thelobster tail was miniscule. The shrimp and scallops were substantially sized, and everything was well prepared and tasty. I'mjust spoiled I guess and have had the pleasure of eating lobster in a lobster pound in Maine with sides and a dessert for twelvebucks...so fifty dollars for a few bites of lobster hurts a little. I will say that after the appetizer and main, I wassatisfied and had intended to get the check and leave. But my server told me that there was both key lime pie and crèmebrûlée on the dessert menu and I was hooked. Two of my favorite desserts. I will say that the menu choices here go very Read more
