I loved the market! Somethings were pricey, but after all, most healthfood places are! They offer not only meats, seafood,... bakery, fresh produce and other groceries but so much more-from vitamins to cosmetics, facial creams, sunscreen, bulk items, petfood, plants, soaps, henna tattoos, sunglasses, wine area, candles, jewelry, and so much more! I suspect this is one of the oldest organic grocery stores in Ohio and likely the entire region. It?s nice to see some of the... same faces year after year, even if I don?t know the names. I?ve been coming since the 90?s when there used to be a Susan?sCoffee next door. An Acme Click department store where I would buy school clothes. So many memories. They have an upstairs thatused to be a restaurant. The restaurant, towards the end, had a wonderful organic Sunday brunch buffet. I still come here asmuch as possible for things I cannot find elsewhere. Bottled unsweetened Jasmine Tea. Speciality Coffees. House made Hummus andwraps. Some really heavy German rye bread. The most delicious vegans desserts and pastries (I?m not vegan but theirs are moredelicious than even the non-vegan stuff.) I love to come and get a nice loaf of crusty French bread, fresh basil, tomato, freshmozzarella, and some balsamic vinegar drizzle. Their prepared foods section is good. Sad that there isn?t a salad bar anymore ora pre-made salad section. I feel like I?d buy those. Did you know Mustard Seed grows a lot of their own produce? They have asuper secret blueberry farm that makes for a wonderful day trip, if you can stand the heat. I?ll keep coming here and supportingsmall, Ohio-based businesses. I?ve been to Whole Foods nearby several times but have never been able to find what I neededthere-specifically the things listed above. Also, the Whole Foods environment is super sterile-almost like walking around anApple Store. The faces at Whole Foods don?t look familiar at all, either. Mustard Seed is a large healthy grocery store with a nice cafe upstairs. The cafe has been closed since covid happened though.... They have a large selection of food and plants. The produce looks very fresh. I went in there on 11/07/21 and did not see anygrapes or blueberries though. Read more
Very clean store in a trendy spot. The prices are too high for what it's worth. I get the supporting local and no pesticides,... but 3$ for a head of lettuce is insulting. However, if you have the money then spend it there. Upstairs is a great cafe/bar.Such a great spot. Have a great bloody Mary while snacking on THEE BEST crispy buffalo cauliflower bites. The absolute best. Sodelicious. I personally would add some chopped green onions for some bite, but so good. Also go on the weekend evenings. Great little grocery store for those looking for different options. I took my niece (who eats vegan) to the restaurant here for... her birthday dinner. I had no idea they had such a great restaurant upstairs! I was expecting something cafeteria style but thiswas a very nice sit down restaurant with options for anyone of any eating preferences. We did a little shopping afterwards andshe was pleased to find some different things to try. Read more
Food is always top notch fresh here. I love the Breakfast Tacos, and the Breakfast Quiche! Adding bacon to the tacos is also a... delicious addition.
