Y?all must be a little slow here or something. I don?t usually leave comments nor am I disrespectful but TWICE I?ve ordered here... tonight and BOTH times my order was wrong. A PLAIN DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER is plain, it doesn?t have bacon, ketchup, mayo ormustard on it. Potato teezers are NOT Mac and cheese bites. I?ve worked fast food, bar kitchens.. etc and never have I made aplain sandwich have condiments on it. Someone could be allergic and you just risked their lives. Read more
Definitely not worth the $13 for a very small bacon cheeseburger, 6 onion rings (literally only 6), and a small shake. The... service is always good. The quality is definitely not there anymore. In Hannibal, Missouri it's a Maid-Rite. Burlington, Vermont a Michigan Burger. But Ohio keeps it true as a Sloppy Joe.... Delicious. The deep fried mushrooms have the right amount of coating and correct amount of fry time; equalling a crispy,crunchy, tender, juice morsel. The Caramel Apple milkshake is a delightful taste sensation leaving you wanting more. But youneed to hurry. They are a limited offered product. I thought it was pretty good! Felt like an old school?ish vibe. I also appreciate that they were willing to give our group a... spot to come all together. Hope My tone didn?t come off as too agressive when I asked you to move your cars? I just have badsocial anxiety and happened to be the first of us to show up!! I?ll be 100% honest don?t take this the wrong way? portions are abit small from what maybe you?d expect? but the prices match the portions 100% so I don?t mind. For years I've heard from Akron natives about how good Swenson's is. So after moving to the area I had to check out what all the... hype was about. I'm sorry Akron, but I don't get it. The Galley boy or however you spell it was just ok, definitely nothing torave about. The fries were just ok too. However, the Jalepeno cheesy bite things were really good. To be honest, I really don'tsee myself going back. I would rather get a burger from five guys if I'm being honest. Again, sorry Akron, it's just not mything. Read more
The burgers used to be twice the size! I used to save half of my galley boy for later because they were so large. They used to... have to put the burgers in one bag and sides in another. Sadly they all fit in one bag now. Won?t go back anymore which makes meso sad, because we have been going there for over a decade. Quality has slipped completely. Read more
Ok so I have never seen this in my life, but I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, then a LITERAL COUPLE minutes later, I asked to... add extra cheese on the burgers. I waited about 10 minutes after that. Got my food, gave them a 10 dollar tip ON TOP of mytotal, and drove 45 minutes away, while eating one of the burgers. I got home and realized they put two extra pieces of cheese,in TWO SEPERATE SWENSONS BAGS instead of ON MY SANDWICHES. I have never witnessed this in my life. I'm not sure how I feel aboutthis.
