Put quite simply, My Pizza Place serves the BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD? I had a slice each of the Buffalo Chicken and the... Jalapeño Popper pizzas. They were hot with fresh ingredients, the perfect amount of cheese. In fact, my husband asked if Irequested extra cheese: I did not! Settled in a quiet, quaint part of town, it was just what I was craving...& you WILL craveit. The restaurant was clean; staff are attentive and friendly; food is moderately priced (and WORTH IT). There's even a nicelittle gift store connected to it that serves desserts: custard, milkshakes, "REAL, New York Italian Ice", and coffee, owned bysame kind couple. I recommend, which was also recommended to me, the custard, served with Italian Ice, also the BEST ITALIAN ICEI've EVER had...TRULY, & I'm from St. Augustine, FL, not Alachua, FL, the location of this wonderful duo ????I HIGHLY recommendboth, My Pizza Place & My Happy Place? Phenomenal foods! Cooked perfectly every time and great options! My go to pizza place!
The staff were pleasant but the pizza was like chewing rubber. We ordered a 14 inch with pepperoni. Hardly any pepperoni was on... it, either. Two of us dined and we each ate most of one piece. I ate the cheese off a second slice but couldn't stomach the ideaof eating any more of that rubbery crust. The other person with me had a couple bites of a second slice. We decided it was notworth wasting calories on any more of it. It was like the dough didn't rise and was just not good. We left half a pizza behindto throw out. No one asked how it was, I guess they already knew. I'm giving two stars because the ingredients seemed good forwhat they used. Read more
