The service here is excellent. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food quality is what you expect for a Waffle House.... Everything is made to order and they even have off-menu items like steak that can be ordered. We are thankful they are open onholidays and hurricane days- it's our family tradition to start those days with Waffle House and avoid the clean-up or just bethankful for a fresh hot meal with friendly service when we're without power at home. I'm sorry but this was my worst experience ever at waffle house. The restaurant was dirty. The attempt at wiping the table was... useless. I moved the previous guest's leftover napkins to end of table thinking server would get a hint...nope. the food didn'tresemble waffle house food. The cheese eggs were overcooked. I've been to many waffle house. First the cook and waitress were great. Food was good. Coffee was not much more than hot water.... Very very weak. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. At quick look about 9 roaches running around just in the bathroom. WhenI was leaving I did notice other movement on the floor and didn't stick around to see what it was. It's definitely time to dosome major cleaning and insect control. Read more
This is the Waffle House on 441 in Alachua. There is a cook named Tommy or Thomas. He can cook please keep this man..just look... at this double 1/4 cheese burger " picture perfect". And he is consistent every time. Unless he runs out of supplies and hecannot control that. Read more
The restaurant was almost full. When we walked in the waiter promly helped us even tho he was clearly very busy. He got out... drinks and order as soon as we were ready and was so friendly. Read more
