Large portions, served hot off the grill, just like a classic Philly.
Food here is fine. Service is normally decent. How ever I'm giving this a one star because every time I call to make an order... they just dont answer, answer and hang up, or they leave the phone off the hook. Like today I call, and it was answered but theyhung up immediately. I went in to order my food and I called the store to see what was happening. This girl just answered thenleft it on. So when you call you get busy tone. Not sure of her name but the girl with the red glasses. *Updated review* Thisrestaurant is now under New Management and the places literally 10 times better. The staff that they have hired are of betterquality and the food is the same great food that was always served. The aesthetics inside the place are different and refreshed.Since they have changed the management I have not called in and been met with the busy tone. This place is now a 4 out of 5stars. Read more

One of my absolute favorites!!! Great friendly and nice staff who make yummy cheesesteaks with the quickness. The sweet peppers... are always nice and juicy and the cheese is ooey gooey good! If you have never been to one you are missing out for sure! Read more
I ordered on Uber eats , it was only supposed to take 10 - 20 minutes to pickup. It should?ve been enough time to pick up my... food and go to work. I arrived to work late because I was disputing with Uber, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU HAVE A LIFE.Basically this place can?t served you in time stated or even double the time. Previous review from 8 months ago Update review1/5/21 I grandma told me a story how her special instructions of cutting the sandwich and having it wrapped separately got hersandwich extra crushed by someone who she said was ?new?. I just hope I don?t see him or deal with him because that?sunacceptable. I am upset that you would treat my grandma that way and I will no longer be visiting. Read more
Best cheesesteak I have had on the West Coast. They have peanut butter Tasty Cakes as well which were awesome. My Mom who is... from Philly gave these two thumbs up and the service was great! Will be back. Read more
I was very dissapointed. I really enjoy their steak sandwiches "the food chain " but yesterday at a particular location I did... not! The meat was really dry, old tasting, and dark looking. When I bit into my sandwich the cheese was not melted, the meatwas def below standards on temp because it was not warm enough to melt the cheese. Very dissapointed at this location. I placed an order for chicken cheesesteak I got a steak cheesecake instead when I came back the same woman who took my order had... the nerve to turnaround have her back towards me and wouldn?t even apologize. I placed my order on 11.10.22 around 2:50pm. Thegentleman who was working with her was extremely apologetic. The young woman was pretty young so maybe she didn?t have enoughexperience with Customer Service. Alameda cheesecake shop do better with your customer service until that happens I will bespending my money with the cheese steak shop on Lakeshore. Read more
