AVOID THE PRIME RIB Went just for the 16 ounce, $34.00 Prime Rib and it sadly tasted a day old and of the least quality... cut. For a restaurant that serves prime rib daily, they should only serve fresh, same day. Perhaps add a prime rib soup to themenu for all the not fresh prime rib! Read more

We were in on Thursday night. The food was great but our waitress was terrible. She was an older woman with glasses, she... scolded my nephew who is 3 because condensation on his cup caused his drink to fall from his hands and spill, she accused him ofthrowing it on the floor and removing his lid, she also didn?t notice it had been spilled for nearly 20 minutes and that mysister and I were out of our drinks, she never checked to see if we were enjoying our meal, if we needed anything else, she wasquite rude and very unfriendly. I really take offense to trying to discipline someone else?s child with the parent sittingright there, especially when not aware of the situation. For $70 for 2 adult entrees and a kids burger I would have at leastexpected a refill and a 2 bite check and to not have my nephew berated by a complete stranger. I contemplated leaving a 0 tipbut I left $10 out of kindness but the service deserved 0 stars. I should mention my family lives in Alanson. We have livedthere for 30 years. We used to go to Bob?s when it was owned by the old owners as well. Bob?s lost a local family?s businessby the way that server treated my nephew. I know it may not seem like much but locals are the ones that keep small businessesafloat in the off season, they make or break a business and being rude and giving lousy service to a local is sure fire way tolose their business. It doesn?t matter how good the food is if you get horrible service. Read more

Absolutely amazing little place. Definitely worth stopping by, food is great and staff is even better! Lindsay was just... wonderful. Did her absolute best to keep drinks topped off and to make sure any requests were filled. They have some prettyawesome shirts for purchase, can even order them if they don't have the one you want in stock. Unfortunately for us they canonly order to the store. (we were on from out of town) Read more

Went for breakfast, no longer served! My wife ordered soup and Polish roses with a cup of coffee. I ordered a patty melt. The... server is a nice woman. She served drinks and my wife's soup and side. After that, about 8 minutes, my sandwich was served. Tostart, she never asked if my wife could get her soup when my meal came out...? Then, my sandwich was to have Swiss cheese asdescribed in the menu. It was served with American cheese. So, most of it will go to our chickens but it was a cool break fromthe day and the place is beautiful inside. Read more

Parking could get hanky on the busy season. We stopped in at the end of February around 10am. We got a parking spot right or... front but it quickly filled up. We were shown the specials board and tools to seat wherever we'd like. We opted for a table bythe window to watch the traffic from highway 31. Waitress came soon afterwards to take our drink order and then returned totake our order. I ordered the Monte Cristo special and hubby ordered the burrito. Mine was delicious with the french toast, butit wasn't breaded but still yummy. I works definitely order this again. The home fries were crispy and seasoned well. Theburrito was good and filled with meat and cheese. He got it topped with beer cheese and liked it. Prices are average, $13 forthe Monte Cristo and $11 for the burrito. Love trying out local places and this one is a winner...stop in for good food andfriendly service. Read more

Excellent food and service! Had the two piece cod basket and hubs had the French dip. The tartar and cocktail sauces with the... cod were so good. Traveling with a 5th wheel so worried about parking but was able to park right across the street. Read more
