Pretty good Korean restaurant near UC Berkeley. We took our God daughter who is a freshman at UC Berkeley, out for lunch. We... found this restaurant on Yelp with good reviews. Since our God daughter likes spicy food, we ordered a few spicy Korean food. She seemed to enjoyed the soft tofu with beef in medium spicy soup. We tried the Chopchae and it was delicious. We also had BBQpork belly and it was tasty. Another good dish we ordered was the Kimchi pancake. It?s similar to the Chinese onion pan cake. They did a good job on this one. All dishes came with rice and a few small sides like kimchi and seaweed. We chose the brownrice. You can also get the regular white rice to go with the food. Prices are reasonable at around $12-15 each dish. Theservice was good and the food came out pretty fast. Parking is on street with two hour limit. Read more

This little Korean restaurant is still holding it down in Albany! The Dolset Bibimbop was superb! I love all the kimchi and... pickled side dishes that come with every meal. The service was promot. We were lucky because no one was there when we gotseated, but it was packed when we left. I would order the veggie pancakes and Dolset again. My mom had the Chicken Korean BBQ.It comes out on a metal plate sizzling. Excellent presentation. I enjoy smelling the food cook at the table while I am eating.yum. (OLDER REVIEW BELOW) Great Bibimbop! I like mine hot and they serve it in a hot bowl. They also give you a variety ofkimchi to eat for free with your meal. I crave it from time to time. Read more

Strong contender in the local bibimbap and Korean bulgogi Field, the food here tastes fresh, and whereas they don't have as wide... a compliment of side dishes as some Korean places, they still have a nice selection. I ordered the bulgogi in the hot bowl, andeverything was really good. I would give this a five-star review, except the cushions that people sit on in this restaurant needto be replaced ASAP. Their lumpy, have springs sticking out of them, and are overall, uncomfortable. The food here, however, isfresh, and delicious. Read more

Lovely panchang (side dishes)! I ordered the spicy beef stew that comes with bean sprouts, shredded beef brisket, egg and glass... noodles. This is a very traditional Korean dish that doesn?t seem to be very popular in the West Coast. If you want samplesomething new, try this dish! The soup is nicely flavored, very good portion. The beef brisket is a little bit on the dry side, but overall a solid dish! The side dishes are amazing! I love the fermented spicy tofu and the radish salad. You shoulddefinitely give this restaurant a try! Probably one of the best Korean restaurants In Berkeley. Read more
