DO NOT TIP!!!!! BIG SCAM DO NOT TIP. When you get the check, you will realize that the money u payed is more than u payed for... the food. this is because they include a 16% tip included in that fee!!!! Absolute scam! They did not tell me about this! Icould file a lawsuit against these guys for trickery! Other than that, the papadi chat was alright, but the tandoori chicken wastasteless and dry! The Gol guppa was also so bitter! Do not go here! Read more

Food was amazing, but the owner is what made everything so perfect. I accidentally placed an order for food that my husband... wouldn’t have been able to pick up until 45 minutes after they closed. He called to let them know what happened and explainedthat we wouldn’t ask for a refund since it was my fault (about $100) and they were welcome to keep the food. Owner told himthat he empathized and told him to come pick up the food after work. He even commended my husband for working long hours tosupport our family. A wonderful experience overall. Good food. Good people. We will be back. Read more

To stretch a little bit and create a parallel, new deli cuisine is to Indian cuisine, what Parisian cuisine is to French... cuisine. With more influences and cultures concentrated at the same table as opposed to more traditional fare. Nonetheless,Krishna, the owner here and Amin the chef, take what they do very seriously, and this neighborhood is blessed for it. I've beeneating Indian food my entire life and this is among one of the greatest dining experiences I have ever had eating Indian food ofany kind at a restaurant. I always start with something that is a staple of a restaurant. So I ordered the butter chicken andthe korma curry with vegetables, some garlic naan and a mango lassie. Right away. When the items arrived at my table, I couldsmell the herbs, and spices, and upon first taste, I was very happy. There was no extra sugar, salt, or anything except real, natural flavor cooked by a Master Chef in each one of these dishes. The butter chicken was absolutely spectacular, and thekorma curry deeper, and richer than any I have had before. The garlic naan was absolutely perfect, and the mango lasse, and notfrom a mix. Talking with Krishna who is a delightful host, she explained some of the principles of New Delhi cuisine to me, andhow she had pride in her restaurant and her food, and it shows. This is a wonderful place, and it costs a little bit more, butit is worth every penny. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and the atmosphere service and the people there in generalare just divine. Read more
