really fantastic dining experience with seasonal menus & great cocktails/mocktails. we came in the summer and I had the best... rice I’ve ever tasted plus a delicious ahi tuna appetizer. their winter menu was great especially the pierogis. the only missfor us was the bread which was too dry. Juanita and Maud is very nice and fancy. We went there for dessert and the pastry chef Juliana makes wonderdul pastries for... dessert. It’s tasty, new flavors, and the presentation looks really nice! The cocktails are very nice too and originals! Irecommend it without hesitation! Read more
My friends and I were looking for a place to eat before a concert in Albany and had no idea where to go. It just so happened... that Juanita & Maude was across the street. We really didn‘t know what to expect and at the risk of sounding like a (..insertinsult here..), having gown up in Paris, I haven‘t been impressed by restaurants in the US very often. This place isabsolutely fantastic. From the salad to the dessert, not to mention the excellent cocktails, everything was on spot. Not asingle faux pas. Fresh. Seasonal. Varied. It was delicious, and relatively speaking not even that expensive. The service wasalso great and the barmaid was super sweet. Do yourself a favor and try it! I will definitely go back. Read more
Just have one word for this place. "incredible". If this is out of your way then you should make the hike to go dine there. We... were four of us and pretty much ordered the entire menu. Loved everything. Some items that stood out were the. squid salad,pork buns, dosa and the jerk chicken.
