I got the turkey avocado sandwich on 11 grain bread. It was so yummy. It was so fresh. It was so filling. At first it looked... like it was a small sandwich; but, once I began to eat it I started to get full. For my side I got fruit. The fruit was alsofresh and tasty. My wife ordered carry outs. I?m the type of person that would rather eat home meals . Only due to Albany restaurants seem to add... overwhelming amounts of salt to foods . Plus the teas are like drinking sugar laced with tea . Anyway ! I?m sure my wife waspleased with her meal so was I . I ordered Cobb salad , oh and a slice of Carmel cake . Both were delicious. Saturday night tradition!!! Me and my husband get newks pepperoni pizza every Saturday because it?s just THAT GOOD!!! If you... think you had good pizza in Albany I assumed you went to Newks cause that?s where you will get it! I recommend it to anybodythat?s new to the area. The pizza is so fresh and crisp. I have the newks app and it?s so good because it has points and hasdelivery. I have nothing bad to say about newks, the service, the food and the restaurant is all good. Read more
This is one of our go-to places for a date night! Eventually, I may get around to trying a sandwich or some soup, but for now... I?m stuck on the pizza! ???????? I gave 4 stars instead of five because there are times when we go and it isn?t as clean as itcould be. This place was so good I are there twice in a week! One day I had a Newk's Q pizza with pimento mac and cheese (this was the... best mac and cheese I think I have had in my life) the other I had a Newk's Q sandwich with a crab and lobster bisque. I woulddefinitely recommend eating here multiple times per week. I wish there was one in my home town! When I am out traveling for workif I see a Newk's I know where I'm eating! Newk?s Eatery in Albany is one of my family?s favorite lunch places to eat in Albany, GA. Food is consistently great. ... Atmosphere is nice and staff are very friendly. Tonight I went to eat by myself. I ordered chicken tortilla soup and 1/2 clubsandwich pairing. Tonight, the restaurants is out of tortilla chips and there are no breadsticks to put in the soup. But yet Ipaid full price and no one even apologized for small inconvenience. What would happen if I tried to pay less for the productthat I didn?t receive to my fullest expectation? I will come back to restaurant unless a pattern of poor management becomes thenew normal! Read more
