Across the Street Pub is CONSISTENT. I literally can't say that about anywhere else off the top of my head here locally. You... know you are always gonna get a good meal with generous portions. The prices and service cannot be beat and pickup is very fast- usually about 15 minutes. The staff is attentive and helpful even for those of us who are in and out. 5-stars. Read more
Went there on Friday. The waiter was quick and nice. The place was pretty empty, so service was quick. Unfortunately my food... wasn't that great. The Philly cheeseburger was bland. The peppers and onions weren't caramelized as I'd expect. They seemedmicrowaved and just tossed on the burger. Husband had the bbq mac n cheese which he said was good. The soda seemed to taste alittle off as well. Bartender was super loud and I could hear her gossip from across the room. Music kept cutting out as well,which was kind of annoying. Read more
Bartender was outstanding - polite, fast, followed up, friendly, and made great suggestions! Food was great - homemade chili... with onions and cheese added, house salad with Cajun chicken added. Dive bar scene with a good group of locals (assuming sincethe Bartender allied them by their first names and knew their drink orders before they sat down). Read more
Hidden Gem!!! The food was spectacular! We had the philly beef dip and the Rodeo chicken wrap. From two Alberta girls who know... what good beef is supposed to be like?..this exceeded expectations! Our first time here. We enjoyed a spinach dip appetizer, a roast beef wrap, and a overstuffed pastrami sandwich. All was... delicious! Nice friendly server. Quick service, too. I try hard not to say anything that might be taken badly. On that notewhen given our bill there was the total. Handed our server our card. When handed back the receipt the amount was a bit higher.There was a surcharge due to using a card over cash. No where was there any note of that. Read more
Was in the Albany area for work... Short walk from the hotel. Relaxing atmosphere, good bar food and drinks. Dan at the bar was... friendly. Plenty of televisions, dart board (not needed on this trip, but good to know). If you're in the area, stop by for acasual lunch or dinner; you'll like it. Read more
