Its best to place your order online and pick it up. Sandwiches are made by order so going there and standing in line wastes... lunch time. The turkey & avocado sandwich on ciabatta is fantastic! I usually get mine toasted. It cost $9. You can purchase ahalf or whole sandwich. Read more
There are the main Au Bon across from Corning Tower. One woman at the register is slow but the other cashiers are quick. I find... the food prep people with the salad and sandwiches are rude but quick. They never have cream cheese out >_< Also, soup isusually gone by 12:30 which is peak lunch. Food is good though. The small Au Bon in the food court is nice but limited of whatthey serve. The lady you makes sandwiches is stand offish. She?s nice to her regulars, but if you don?t know her she seems thatway. This is an out of the way restaurant on the usually busy Concourse of the Empire State Plaza. To find it head up the corridor... toward Agency Core One (opposite the Corning Tower). Try the soup bar or the grill. The Country Grilled Cheese is out of thisworld. Read more
Good stop for a quick meal or snacks. This place is situated underground on the concourse of the Empire State Plaza and there... are no signs for it (or the other food places) from the ground level. Just follow the signs for the concourse and you'll end uphere like we did. Read more
