The food and service here is really 1st rate. The menu is small but there is something for everyone and all of the ingredients... were very very fresh. I had their grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque soup. This was not your Kraft cheese slices andWonder Bread sandwich. It was a blend of many fine cheeses on brioche bread. The tomato bisque was just spicy enough and fullof tomato fibers and flavor. The two together were quite tasty. For dessert I had a very good coffee and a slice of extracreamy cheese cake with berry sauce. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and the service was excellent. I will bereturning to try some of the other menu items. Read more

We decided to try Josie?s Table after being told by another breakfast restaurant that the wait was 35-40 mins. I am so glad we... went there. We were very pleased with our breakfasts; the Farmer?s Breakfast and the Avocado Toast. The restaurant istastefully decorated. Our waitress, Jenna, was awesome. We will return for dinner. Read more

Josie's Table is a welcome addition to the impressive lineup of restaurants at Stuyvesant Plaza. Some might say it's a bit... pricey but if you study the quality ingredients that go into each dish, it's really not. I ordered a cup of tomato bisque ($6),which was creamy and delicious. I ordered the braised beets salad with no added protein ($12), which was a nice size andincluded whipped ricotta, arugula, orange supremes (orange slices), pistachios and mint...delicious. We also ordered a basket ofbread for the table ($6); the bread was good but truly yummy was the honey butter that came with it. The service was great, nocomplaints. The atmosphere was clean, warm and brighter than what I remember of Provence. Truly impressive was the huge pizzaoven from Italy; it's worth a visit just to see that! Maybe next time we'll eat on the patio, also very nice. Read more

Delightful! Went for dinner with my friend and the food was amazing! Nicely portioned and delicious - my favorite bite was the... pureed asparagus under my fish. Our server was outstanding and so were the cocktails! Read more
