We went to Junior's Pizza & Pub after shopping. We got there about 7:30 pm. It was busy but we found a table right away. The... pizza was great! The service was fast and friendly. We ordered a couple drinks and then our food. The staff was very nice andhelpful. Our server told us about the trivia game that was happening. He said he would get us a drink if we wanted to play. Food was delicious!! Broccoli cheddar soup, wings (moonshine), lemon pepper and mild. Everything was delicious. I recommend!
Place peaked about 6/7 years ago. Ever since then it?s like they?re trying to figure out how to give you cheaper food and keep... it packaged like it?s quality products. Fries have changed, buns, burgers. None for the better. Need some new management andidea development going on. Read more
Juniors consistently provides solid burgers and other bar foods. Would recommend generally avoiding the soups and anything that... sounds healthy (salads), as they really aren't as well put together. Their buffalo wings might be one of the best in Capital Region Area. Fast service and outside seating is fun during summer.
Cool place to hangout. Can get crowded sometimes. Good for trivia. Drinks and food aren?t expensive.
Safe bets here are the moonshine wings - always good. I also like the moonshine pork quesadilla but other than that - it?s... extremely hit or miss. I?ll start with the positive - our waitress was very sweet. My moonshine wings were crispy like I hadasked for. My sweet potato fries were good. The not so positive - my friend was given a drink menu with summer drinks.Therefore We had to share a menu back and forth. We ordered the cranberry mule (variation of Moscow mule) and it was not good atall. The drink was poorly mixed and ginger beer in it was flat. This is not the place for mixed drinks. Every time I go they arejust not great quality. We started off with the half portion of nachos - I don?t like that they used the liquid cheese likenacho cheese that comes in a jar - that ruined them for me. I prefer real cheese . They were so ?loaded? you could barely pickone up. Then they had what seemed to be one waitress for the entire restaurant on a Saturday night . My friend and I hadfinished our food, drinks and then had not seen the waitress for another 20 minutes and we just wanted to pay. I had to get upand go find her and request to pay. I don?t fault her - she was working hard . It seemed to be the lack of staff - which isprevalent everywhere I do realize . However, that?s the first I?ve had that happen to me at any establishment . So support yourwait staff better, management. Overall, a decent Albany spot to grab food and drinks. It?s not amazing or anything.
