A unique experience! Our server Ashley was so friendly and helpful. When I reserved a table online I noted it was for our... anniversary and they served up a piece of chocolate cake! How sweet ?? Great staff that provide a culture of service. There was food choices for everyone in my party including two teens, in which one... is vegetarian and a wife that does not like meat. Had fun cooking and talking. The tenderloin was off the hook. Highlyrecommend. I am picky about food being a certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional, and give 5 stars! Beautiful establishment!!! Huge facility and artwork breathtaking. The hostess was sweet and accommodating. We walked in 5 min... after opening with no reservation but was seated within minutes. Our waitress Carly was so kind, patient, and attentive to us.Food came out very quickly. The meat selection was out of this world. This is the only hotpot restaurant in albany, so it doesn't mean much to say that it's the best... but its pretty good even on... the scale of other metropolitan areas. Everything we were served was fresh. Clams and scallops were gritty, but that was theonly sign that something was not perfect. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and came around just the right amount. We haveonly tried the Korean BBQ once, months ago, and did not come back for it again, as the meats were poor quality and some tastedon the verge of being off (hence only four stars). The meats were also not marinated the way that Korean BBQ typically is,leading to kind of a bland meal that feels healthy and filling at best. The bar has had consistently beautifully made drinks,though service has been slow in the past... not too much of a problem, since a meal here lasts a couple of hours by nature andthey are definitely worth the wait. Overall, the restaurant offers excellent ambiance, great service, and efficient use oftechnology. There is not as much variety as most dedicated hotpot places have, but the available offerings are well thought outand executed (except the shellfish, which could be prepped and cleaned better). Service is amongst the best around, and that byitself is worth a regular visit. Read more
