The best food we've ever had. From the sauce to the meat, everything was simply amazing.

Small indoor seating. Restaurant does not have a bar so they have BYOB but charge for corking. The restaurant was very busy so... we opened our own bottle but was still charged $10 for corking. Food was OK but not the best Italian food we have ever had. Read more

What a wonderful restaurant!! Highly recommend the polenta app - unbelievable and wonderful!! I had trofie pasta with sausage... and broccoli rabe and it was excellent! The flavor of this dish was spot on. My fiancé had the veal parm and you literallydidn?t need a knife to cut it that?s how tender it was. Delicious!! The best was the sauce they used for his pasta - it was goodold fashion Sunday sauce!! Our waitress was so nice and even with all the tables full we didn?t have to wait for anything. She was great ???? It is byob which I love so bring a great bottle (or 2) and enjoy!!! Can?t wait to go back!! Read more

I ate here for dinner with family. Every dish was fantastic, from the veal parm to the penne bolognese to the halibut, they were... all great. The dessert was out of this world too. I highly recommend either the lemon marscapone or the carrot cake! Read more

I took my boyfriend here randomly and that was the best decision ever. Extremely small and fully packed so we knew the food was... going to be amazing from the second we walked in. Friendly staff. Amazingly fresh tasting ingredients and flavors out of thisworld. Nice ambiance dimly lit. Romantic A hidden gem. I texted all my family members to go there ASAP. My mom booked forthe next night. WONDERFUL! Read more

Fantastic food and service. Everything was flavorful, bright and fresh with wonderful ingredients. Small intimate dining room... was perfect for a get together with friends and we could actually hear eachother. Best meal I?ve had in theAlbany-Troy-Schenectady-Saratoga area in years. It?s BYOB. Small intimate setting(6 tables) BYO for Alcohol. The negatives were few so I'll list them first. No air conditioning on the... warm evening we went there. The waitress was wonderful but overworked. It's difficult to properly service 6 tables (24 people)at once so while she was very good a second helper would have made the service flawless. The positives were many. Intimatedinner atmosphere, reasonable prices, delicious well prepared meals and food presentation were all excellent. I most certainlywill return. The veal was able to be cut without a knife. Delicious! Read more

Just had a great dinner at Pastina in Albany. While our entire experience was fantastic, we loved Amy, and chatted with Michael,... the food went above and beyond. We started with the calamari, which had some heat to it, so many delicious ingredients and allI can say is don't leave without ordering it. We both had veal for dinner; the parmigiano and the veal picatta and they had suchgreat flavors, that when we come back for our next visit, it will be hard to try any other dishes.. The desserts alone are worthgoing for, and I suggest that you have "the bomb" which is chocolate, more chocolate and cherries. Most of all we enjoyed howboth Amy and Michael made us feel welcomed. We live in the neighborhood that they are located in, and our happy that they arehere. Please give them a try, as you will have a great dining experience. Read more
