The worst part is that after waiting 15 minutes for one drink it's always made wrong! I order the same drink everytime (mocha... frapp with a shot) and yet each time it's made differently. Some days it's full of unblended syrup and cream, it could justtake like water or espresso (no mocha flavor), and just recently it had remnants of an apple flavor, meaning the employees arenot washing/sanitizing correctly. I understand that this location is typically understaffed and staffed mainly by students, butthe total lack of consistency and food safety is concerning. Read more
idiotic place can?t even be bothered to update their hours on Google. Took a massive detour as this was the only place open. Had... to cross an entire university parking lot and walk half a mile in the building only to find it closed. Ridiculous! Read more
This location goes against everything the Starbucks brand stands for. Today, I mobile ordered a drink, and had to wait a full... hour to get my drink. Meanwhile, the staff members were talking to each other and making drinks out of order. Once I got mydrink, it was made completely wrong. Only this Starbucks would forget to put coffee in a drink that has COFFEE in its name. Theyalso don't make other drinks right, for example, they don't put water in chai lattes, no vanilla in vsc cold brew or caramelmacchiatos, etc. In addition to this, I saw two girls in front of me, who ordered pink drinks, receive dragon drinks instead.When they brought this up to the staff, the woman making the drinks said that they ran out of strawberry drinks so they had togive them mango instead. They did this without asking the permission of the customer, and made no attempt to give a refund forthe drink. This is completely unacceptable. If I could find the manager's email, I would be contacting them instead of writingthis review. Bottom line: If you want anything resembling a drink from Starbucks, don't go here. Read more
This Starbucks service is so bad they might as well close it down. The employees are rude and take so long to make drinks. While... they?re making drinks they?re all just doing weird thing in the background and laughing and making jokes. At the same timethere?s like fluid falling all over the ground while they?re making beverages! It?s okay to have fun at work but like this placesucks honestly. I am at student at UAlbany. I have had issues with getting my drink in a timely manner before, but today I waited 35 minutes for... my Dragon Drink, and as a result was 5 minutes late to my class and got in trouble. The staff behind the counter was movingreally slow, talking to each other, and messing around. If you're going to have a Starbucks on a college campus, run by collegestudents, there should probably be a manager on staff that is willing to make sure they're actually doing their jobs, andtraining them to make sure they actually know what they're doing. Being a college student, I understand that it is hard to workand go to school, but waiting over 35 minutes for a drink is unreasonable. I have also had issues getting drinks that aren'twhat I order. This is not to say that everyone on staff does a poor job. A few of the women on the staff do an amazing job andthey're always reliable and, smiling, and sweet. A grande black coffee, a hot chocolate, a cookie, and a brownie. How hard is that? Well... I had to repeat my order at least 3... times. Then it took forever. Then, the drinks were ready before the baked goods. Well, you say it took some time to get yourorder. They must have been busy, right? Uh, no. Not busy at all. This Starbucks DOES NOT hold the same standard as others. Maybe because it?s inside the University, I?m not sure. This location... has tarnished the brand. They are disorganized and EXTREMELY slow. You will wait at least 5-10 minutes to give your order.They?ll have a hard time understanding the details of your order, and you will wait AT LEAST another 5-10 minutes for it to bemade. The drinks are okay but the baristas need to stop racially profiling me. THREE times now have they insisted that a drink or food... item is mine or gotten annoyed with me for not taking it because there's an Asian name on it and I happen to be Asian. I getthat they need to get drinks out off the shelves, but when they insist that I'm just not hearing them correctly and I'M the onewho's wrong (as if I wouldn't know my own name), it gets annoying and feels gross.
