This little local gem is a gift to connect family. We always make time for dinner here first. It is casual and are free to ask... for what we need. The cinema is comfortable and the service is good. I ventured out of the seating to ask if they had espresso, they offered me black coffee which I accepted. Well, it was the most exceptional black coffee I had experienced in a whileand I am an espresso enthusiast! I absolutely recommend The Madison Theater. Read more

Recently I've been a little disappointed. The Madison appears to be more function related and going to a simple movie seems to... not their priority. I have had to wait very long for someone to take my food order and many times had to go to the lobby andplace my own order. I live in the neighborhood so I wanted to support the theater. The Madison Theatre is an awesome local business. It's unique as a movie theater because you get to experience being at a... restaurant at the same time as you're watching a movie. Or you could just come for the food or one of the fun activity nightslike Karaoke Thursdays or Comedy night. Read more
I had a first time theater experience recently at The Madison Theater, waitress service IN the theater! I bought my ticket and... they handed me a menu; I could order what I wanted right from my seat and it would be brought to me. There are clean counters infront of the seats to set your snacks on. There is also a full bar out in the lobby with tables and chairs. There was nopressure to do anything. In fact, you can also buy your snacks at a lovely next door bakery and cafe and bring them in with you,if you prefer. We saw Downton Abbey in a nearly empty theater but we had a great, 5-star experience at The Madison Theater.Definitely going back! Read more
While I had a couple of good experiences, I recently witnessed completely unacceptable, unprofessional and rude behavior on a... very reasonable social media post on the theater?s changes in the invoice they provide to an organization that regularly rentsout their theater. It was not even just a miscommunication because the replies all were ill-mannered even when people keptexplaining the issue and providing specific details and proof. I am keeping this 3 stars for now based on two good priorexperiences- 1 dining in the theater pre COVID and another where I just ate there. But depending on what I see from management,how they address this and any other situations, and based on further experiences I have in person, I will change it accordingly. Read more
