Amazing! From the drinks to the food, waitstaff, atmosphere all the way to dessert. The atmosphere was very chill, lounge,... relaxing. The waitstaff was amazing, friendly, welcoming and the best; funny! The food was so good, the butternut squashrigatoni was *chef kiss* amazing! The meatball appetizer and also baguette were so delicious. All of the drinks were perfect,especially the blueberry basiltini. The Chai old fashioned & dessert cocktail Almond Joy were also perfect. For dessert, on themenu tonight was the cinnamon roll cheesecake, genius! The crust made out or cinnamon roll, hats off to whoever thought of that!Amazing, delicious. We felt very comfortable the entire time, our waitress was amazing checking up on us the perfect amount andjust having a lovely, personable energy. All and all, would 100% go back again. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The pizza, meatballs and shareables were great and the... drinks were nice and strong. Would recommend for anyone looking for good drinks and food well worth the price (which was veryreasonable, 4 drinks, pizza and two apps for $98) loved it and will definitely be back. Read more
The point is hands down one of our favorite spots in Albany. The Tuesday chicken parm night is the best deal around AND includes... wine!! The staff are always friendly and outgoing. Server TJ is great we have had him multiple times! The manager is veryattentive & doesn’t miss a beat. He is always making sure patrons are well taken care of. He seems to really handle thingsvery well. The Mother’s Day brunch was hands down the BEST brunch buffet I have ever been to. The straw salad needs to be onthe menu ASAP along with their home made balsamic dressing. Best dressing I have ever had. The list goes on and on for thisplace. It never disappoints! We had my son and daughter-in-law's wedding rehearsal dinner at the Point. The food was great. We had an open bar for the 1st... two hours and we're a bit upset because the bar service was a bit slow at the beginning. Once we mentioned it, they addedservers and were absolutely fantastic and accommodating! They let us stay as long as we wanted. We had a fantastic buffet, butthey allowed us to have plated dessert so our 32 guests could choose the flavor of their Bombolini. Read more
Ordered The Point via Grubhub tonight. The lobster pasta came with lobster that really did not taste fresh, it was definitely... from frozen and the claw still had shell remnants in it. I was willing to chalk it up to ordering lobster in a landlocked town,but then my cheesecake came with Parmesan cheese flakes on it. I’m guessing this was meant to be white chocolate? Orcheesecake was taken too literally? They also packed the cold cheesecake right on the hot pasta, melting it. It was a bummer ofan expensive meal ?? Editing to add manager asked me to come in and treated me to a new meal. The pizza was very very good. Wewill be giving them another try. Read more
I highly recommend this restaurant to tourists visiting and locals in Albany. I and my date had a delicious Sausage +pepperoni... pizza and Shrimp scampi along side drinks. The ambience and staffs were warm and overall, the food was brilliant !! Read more
