This review is solely for the bar area We were with a large party coming into town for the weekend. Our group trickled in for... like an hour and I am sure was a slam on the bar. Brett the bartender kept pace. He had some helpers but he was basically on hisown serving about 20-30 people. He was a knock out bartender. We had the 3 high tops pushed together as a gathering point buttook up over 80% of the bar area. I am a fan of having a bartender who is great make up their own variations of my favoritedrink a margarita. Brett crushed it! Brett first mixed a strawberry passion fruit, then raspberry and then the original. Hisdrinks were a perfect balance and fantastic flavor. If we lived local I would not hesitate to hire him for private events. Whenit was closing time he recommended a bar across the street for us that is more of a local hangout which we thoroughly enjoyedtoo! Read more

We visited Yonos while on a turn around trip (driving 10 hours to stay less than 24 hours and home again) The restaurant was... adjacent to the hotel which was very nice and easy. We had no wait time which was amazing for a Saturday night. The 3 of uswere seated at one of the high top tables, which was fine but the tables were very small. We had to use the extra chair so wecould get some of the things off the table so we would have room. Our waiter was very nice but didn't explain the menu, specials, or drinks. There also seemed to be a limited menu compared to what we saw online. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it wasthe best one I have ever had!!! The blackened octopus was amazing as well. Our actual dinners came and I was pretty surprisedwith the presentation though. I don't believe it was up to par. Again not much room to function. The prices were a littlehigher but based on the presentation I guess I expected more for the price. The food was all and all good but I think we willexplore other options the next time we visit Albany. Read more

Great place for fine dining for either a special occasion or a work function in Albany. The atmosphere is nice, although it... might be a little loud in the bar area. I ate with a work function in the dining room in the back which had a piano and alarge table area which was apart from the rest if the dining room. It was perfect for a large group. The food was excellent, with an interesting mix of various genres that blended well together. It's a foodie's paradise! The service was excellent andmore of what I expect from a fine dining establishment. Very attentive and friendly. Not a place for a quick bite, because ittakes time, but to be honest, not being rushed is exactly what I want from a place like this (too often there is no time forconversation). Very highly recommended! Read more

So…last night 3 of us went here for the 7 course dinner. It was not what we expected. We are all well-traveled and open to... flavors. The drinks and service were good especially the server’s assistant. However, the food was another story. The firstcourse of oysters was not on ice and was warm like it had sat out. The octopus was good but did not need the salmon roe on it.The pea soup was underwhelming at best. The foie gras was good on it’s own but the rest of the part of it tasted like shoeleather. The pork was better than the others. We took the venison to go and haven’t tried it yet. The cheese was extremelybitter and not delightful. And we did get bananas foster for dessert as a swap but I think you can’t really mess that one up.So two possibly three decent small bites and a bill over $500. I would pass on this for sure next time. Read more

We went there for my husband's birthday and had a really good experience! The staff was very friendly and courteous. We did the... three course meal which was delicious! By the time dessert rolled around we were stuffed! Food was tasty though for the price Iwould have expected something a little more elegant and sophisticated. The only disappointment was that there was no love music(we went on a Saturday evening). Overall a fun experience and a reason to get dressed up! Read more
