Delicious food, amazing service, beautiful atmosphere. My one regret is that I only bought 3 desserts to go after my meal.
This place was absolutely wonderful. It is a family-owned establishment and the owners who served us were incredibly kind,... welcoming, and excited about their food and the opportunity to serve us. My wife and I had a wonderful lunch date. We would comeback 100%. Be advised, their hours are limited, and a phone call for a reservation would be wise. That said, don't let it keepyou from going! They were welcoming to walk-ins! Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal at Novak's! Read more

I make it a point to drive well into Albany to this restaurant anytime they are open. Very authentic I understand and very good.... When you enter, you instantly feel like you are among family. The staff are all friendly and social and care about yourexperience. They all make you feel at home and proudly share information about all the offerings. I had the buffet as it wasquicker and I really didn't know what I wanted to eat. I had a bit of everything and it was all good to great! Love this place,the owners and staff. Read more
Quite possibly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had in my life. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional,... and personable. They made every effort to make sure my date and I were satisfied with our time there. The food was delicious andarrived quickly. I would recommend bringing cash as it is their preference, although you can pay using a credit card for a smallpercentage fee. I also had a reservation, so can not speak to possible wait times as a walk in. All in all, this was a 10/10experience and I only wish they were open more days of the week! Read more

Great food and service. Very authentic Hungarian. Definitely recommend reservations. How do they do to go orders as well. ... They used to have outdoor seating but I haven't seen that for a while I hope they bring that back. Highly recommend the breadof dishes as the breading is light not overcooked spot on! Read more
We have been going to Novak's for decades, we travel from Eugene and Portland to meet up for family meals. Their food and... service is great. They are only open on Thursday's and Friday's now but still worth the trip. We did the buffet for $49 perperson but you get an alcoholic beverage, plus your choice of appetizers and desserts on top of the unlimited entree options. It ends up being a great deal and you get to have a smorgasbord of all the menu items. Kids 4 and under get access to thebuffet for free. Everything is so yummy down to their house butter. The cabbage rolls, sausage, and chicken paprikas are sogood. They used to be located right off of I5 which was more convenient but now is in downtown Albany. The restaurant is cozybut cute.
