Me and my husband Jeff are visiting from New Mexico, but he grew up around here. We stopped in at the Garage twice so far, and... we absolutely loved the relaxing atmosphere and the friendly staff. They immediately made us feel very welcome. This place hasa big variety of delicious craft beers, as well as some really good wines. This is one of my favorite little bars in Downtown Albany, Oregon. On my most recent visit, I came in was greeted, offered a few... tastings of new beers they had on tap, choose a Raspberry Ale that tasted amazing. I ordered food that was tasted delicious andfast! This was my first time ever going to the garage. We went close to closing and they still had their kitchen open and let us stay... till a little after closing. Was a super chill atmosphere. The bartender was really nice, made suggestions for different beersto try based on our tastes. Read more
Jessie is absolutely incredible. She made us feel so welcome, despite our wild children. She was quick with our food and never... left us run out of drinks. 10 out of 10 stars. We found it on line, and loved the name! Walked into an empty bar. Mind you it was 2:30 on a Wednesday. Ordered the loaded... waffle fries and a couple of cocktails. And went to sit in the outdoor area. It was cute, but was inneed of a deep clean forsure. The drinks were great! The waffle fries weren't cooked all the way through. Some even raw crunchy on the raw side Thebacon looked to be the pre cooked microwaveable type? The sauce was very salty, and I love salt. We ate about a third, but thatwas all that we could actually consume. Probably won't try it again. Read more
