I got the steamed ginger chicken potstickers and the cheeseburger and Mongolian beef bao. The bao buns were a nice texture and I... loved the filling inside all three. Read more

Such a disappointment! The food was like a tv dinner for a senior center. Except a portion size for a child. No meat, mushy... veggies and mostly rice for $17. What a waste of money. I couldn\'t stomach eating it so threw most of it away. Read more

Received wrong item (got orange chicken instead of teriyaki) on order through door dash. Disgusting food that was completely... frozen and microwaved. Both my partner and I couldn?t even eat it and he eats almost anything. The bao was falling apart in thepackage. Not worth $40. Read more

I ordered the Teriyaki Ckn bowl and 2 Bao- I\'ve had frozen microwavable dinners that taste better than this. It was the... equivalent of dog food and the portion size was tiny. The BBQ pork Bao was edible although the meat was dryed out - The chickenteriyaki bao tasted spoiled. I wanted to give them a shot, I rarely leave bad reviews and will just not leave one at all but Iwas really really disappointed and surprised at how bad it was. Read more

The meal I received from Wow Bao was one of the most disappointing meals I\'ve had. The menu sounded great-- a change of pace... for what we\'re used to in Albany. We ordered two Bao bowl combos ($17) and received semi-decent Bao and a bowl of 80% rice, 19%mushy veggies and sauce, and 2 tiny pieces of chicken. It tasted and looked like it came straight from a microwave.\nIf you seethis on Uber Eats, don\'t do it. Read more

Because the food is mass distributed the quality is very poor and is the equivalent of taking frozen food and just microwaving... it. The taste was there but that mushy like texture that you\'d get from microwaving is a big no for me.\n\nThen there is thecost, for what you\'re getting (Practically 7-11 food) it\'s too expensive and does not match the overall quality.\n\nI don\'trecommend it. At least not until they figure out a solution for the poor quality AND adjust the pricing accordingly.\n\nMyrecommendation: Order from the local Asian restaurants, you\'ll save money and get a better eating experience. Randomly found this online while looking for dinner delivery. Never heard of it before and figured I\'d give it a try. Ordered... a Bowl and 2 Bao combo (I selected Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, BBQ Berkshire Pork Bao, & Spicy Mongolian Beef Bao) for $17. Therewas a 20% off the entire order offer automatically applied when ordering through their website (it was Cyber Monday, maybe thathad something to do with the discount?). Food was ready for delivery driver pickup in about 20 minutes. Food was delivered (viaDoorDash) about 10 minutes later.\n\nThe portion size of the bowl was quite smaller than I was expecting. There were few actualpieces of chicken in the bowl; besides the rice, it was mostly sauce and vegetables; a big letdown.\n\nThe bao was just okay. It was still warm but the amount of filling was about half of what I would have expected; about 75% dough, 25% filling. BBQBerkshire pork tasted better than the Spicy Mongolian beef (which had very little spice).\n\nThe food was overpriced, andportion sizes were lacking.\n\nAfter ordering, I researched Wow Bao and learned they use ghost kitchens to piggy back theirbusiness off other established restaurants. In the case of the Albany location, they prepare the food out of Sizzler. The foodis previously frozen before being distributed nationally to the ghost kitchens.\n\nInteresting concept. Poorly executed. Iwill not be a customer again. Read more
