My husband and I went here for the first time. Everything was terrific. Food was awesome, not just good but awesome! Service was... great. Reasonably priced and clean. Desserts are homemade and we brought ours home. Looking forward to going back. Read more

Excellent food and service! Visiting from NC and had dinner here with friends and had a great experience. The smoked gouda mac... and cheese was amazing! Creamy, cheesy, and topped with crisp bacon crumbles and lightly toasted breadcrumbs. A must try housespecialty. The waitress was engaging and fun. She was ready to answer questions about the menu and gave excellentsuggestions. Very attentive. I think her name was Alicia (long straight ponytail). Great, fun, welcoming place to eat! Read more

Tried 39 Problems for dinner tonight and so glad we did. Love the decor. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic.... They have a great drink selection. We had the Chicken Cordon Blue and Chicken Carbonara. We loved both! The cream ofasparagus soup was delicious! Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely go back for dinner and Brunch in the nearfuture. Read more

The setting is in one of the historic buildings, with brick walls and a very high tin ceiling. The atmospherics make this is an... enjoyable bar/restuarant. The menu is eclectic and the food was well prepared, even if the service was a bit slow. And wenever found out what the 39 Problems were. Read more

Order fish fry. The fish was a little darker and over cooked and the fries were mushy not crispy. Last time this was on point... and amazing so I guess it's hit or miss. Read more

Reasonably priced food. Chicken wings were decent. Very limited choices of liquors, but the bartender was able to create... something for me. Read more

39 Problems.. and good food aint one. We work for a local business in the area and were so excited when 39 problems showed up... in Albion because it gave us a little change to our lunch options. We were really disappointed when we ordered. First, it tookover an hour, which when you order at 11am you don't expect. Additionally, when the food arrived it was not accompanied by anysilverware or napkins. We had to call and they had to come back with it. It didn't take that long, but we were a littledepressed watching our food slowly get colder while we waited for silverware. On to the food itself. I ordered a baked pastadish. The pasta was SO overdone, I couldn't even keep it on the fork. Everytime I tried to take a bite it just broke apart andslithered off my fork. When I finally did get a bite into my hungry mouth, it tasted like pasta mush covered in jarred sauce. Ithink I even said, "this reminds me of buffet food"... not really a compliment. The salad was salad. I mean, how do you screwup lettuce? My coworker ordered chicken and bacon mac and cheese. When he received it we found maybe four specks of bacon. Thecheese was so thick and stringy (not like a cheese sauce, more like melted cheese thrown on top of overcooked pasta) that whenhe pulled out a piece of chicken it came out bare, with no cheese or sauce on it. We both got breadsticks with our orders. Minewas VASTLY over done, even burnt. His looked like it hadn't even seen the inside of an oven. I ordered a peanut butter piewhich I didn;t have silverware for because they only brought us two sets so I had to take my saucy pasta fork, wash it off anduse it for my pie. No big deal in the big picture I guess, but if you're looking to up the ante as their website claims they aredoing, the details matter. I spent $15 for a lunch that I didn't even eat. Very disappointed. Will not be going back, ever. Ican get a decent burger at the Village House for half of what I paid and be happy with it. #DoBett Read more
