I don't know what happened to this place but the quality has dropped off a cliff. Also, the menu prices don't match the receipt.... Look at this BS turkey burger Cobb salad that is advertised as coming with two sliders for $11.... It actually comes with twotiny cheap ground turkey patties for $13.50! Shameful Read more
Take the kids Mac and cheese off the menu if you can't serve good food to a kid don't serve it. The Mac and cheese was more like... yellow dry macaroni. The fresh fruit was a cup of fruit you get on isle 5 at the grocery store. Read more
Growing up in NE Albuquerque, 5 Star Burger used to be my favorite burger spot. And once I turned 21, obviously turned into a... great spot for happy hour drinks. Finally coming back and visiting Albuquerque after several years, I was glad to see this spotstill busy during happy hour. I could be wrong but the burgers do seem a bit smaller than I remember and not as amazing. It?sstill a solid burger but I can?t really complain about their happy hour pricing! Read more
Food was very appealing until uncertified animal was allowed in to set next to me and was surprised by this. When the pet hair... from the adorable dog sniffing my legs flew into my food i was no longer hungry. If you have pets please bring all of them herewhen you want to dine out. There are no restrictions so please bring them. The staff are very nice and even brought the dognext to me a bowl of water and placed it on the floor all while attending to my request no hand washing needed. This place isawsome! Read more
This place definitely serves high quality beef patties. The fries and onion rings are cooked to perfection. Only rings had the... perfect crispness. The hamburgers were large portions and only con was that the green chile was very bland and not spicy. Itneeds actual mild/hot green chile to give it that extra kick. 10/21: 5 stars for well...5 Star (or Five Star) I am not a burger lover but this place captured my attention and taste buds. ... Neighborhood eatery that was crowded for lunch, but got a table right away. Yes there is patio seating when available. Althoughthe restaurant seemed a tad dark in lighting (maybe because of Halloween, idk...) it was extremely clean, friendly staff and Ienjoyed that hormone-free, chemical-free, unfiltered burger. Drink before you eat, right?! Had a cold strawberry mimosa. And,here comes the food part ????. I ordered the 5 Star Burger that has gorgonzola cheese, applewood smoked bacon and garnish on theside. Yummy thick meat in the mouth for $10.50. Fries or onion rings $2-$4 extra, just letting you know well inadvanced. Overall, yes, definitely recommend 5* Burger. Enjoy Read more
This was pretty fantastic food. There were a lot of options on their burger menu. I ended up starting with the old-timer, and... adding cheese and bacon. It was *so* good! Go with it I had a blood orange cider. That was a great combo. You would have alsobeen great with a beer, or with a pair or apple cider. So there you go! I highly recommend Five Star Burgers. Great tasting burgers. Also had the tuna bowl and was superb. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Got here at 5pm on a... Saturday and filled up quickly when it got closer to 6. Good atmosphere. Good selection of beers. Read more
