The BLT was a bit dry and could have used more of some sort of sauce or flavor, but was pretty good! I was rather disappointed... by the $7 seasonal smoothie I bought which tasted like absolutely nothing. Maybe the fruit was freezer burnt or something butthe smoothie tasted like water rather than any of the four delicious sounding fruits inside of it. The interior of this place isnice and the murals on the outside are lovely. Read more

Had a good meal and a take out for next day's lunch. The place is clean and staff is friendly. Good choice in Albuquerque. But I... didn't like people smoking weed in and around their outdoor seating area. Although that not restaurant's problem, it is aproblem with Albuquerque, even NM in general. Read more

The worst dosa I've ever eaten!! 1. The dosa was thicker than a pancake 2. The masala was rolled up in it like a burrito 3. When... I unrolled the "burrito" I found half the masala inside to be burnt. 4. The sambar was gluggy and absolutely tasteless 5. The"Coconut chutney"...did it even have coconut in it? It literally tasted like water I really wish I had asked for a refund. Read more

The food here was exceptional: the mumbai khatti was probably my favorite with it's spices and the texture of the chapati. The... kitchari was incredible and authentic, though not too salty (which is fine). The masala fries with the garlic sauce and cilantrosauces were also very good - though came in very large portions so be hungry if you come. Lastly, the hot chai was excellent. Imake my own chai and have to say this was even better. It was very soft and had hints of spice, but tasted very much likeauthentic chai. To the reviews that complained about service being poor, I will say that service being an issue was not thecase when we came - but could see that being an issue if there were more patrons. However, shortstaffing is a nationwide problemfor restaurants. Read more

Passed by this restaurant multiple times however, I am a carnivore and figured I would not enjoy the food they served. I was... spending the afternoon with my friend, who is a vegetarian and decided to try this restaurant. I honestly did not know what toorder and she had never been here either, but as we looked at the menu and read the descriptions we decided what the heck let'sjust try a few things and we will share everything so we can taste the different dishes. I ordered the Samosa & the falafelwrapped in Dosa w/Masala fries. These dishes were accompanied with the following sauces: Chipotle, cilantro lime and datechutney. She ordered the South Indian Sampler w/ coconut chutney and a bowl of Dal. Why it was brought to the table it lookreally good, and I'd have to say that after trying everything, we really enjoyed our meals. Everything was so good and I didn'tmiss my meat. Of course I won't give my meat up, but I'd have to say that I would eat here again. It was a nice change of pace.I would also recommend giving this place a try. Worker was very helpful with recommendations and great personality. The Masalafries w/ the Chipotle sauce were so good...give these a try. If you read my review, please hit the like button.
