Had a wonderful breakfast here the day before Thanksgiving. Even though we live only a few blocks away, we felt like we were on... vacation out of town. The fireplace was crackling and felt great on a chilly morning. I had the 24K beet waffles and my wife hadtheir special version of avocado toast. The surroundings enhance the delicious food and coffee. The historic house is filledwith eclectic furnishings and the walls are decorated with art by local artists. Very nice experience to start our holidaybreak. Read more

I never thought I'd rave about a piece of toast. I mean c'mon, it's just toast, right? I couldn't be more wrong. You'll never... look at a sad piece of buttered toast again once you experience Curious Toast. Nestled in a historic building in downtownAlbuquerque, the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. You're surrounded by an eclectic mix of furniture and art in this brightairy space. The employees were cheerful and very helpful in deciding between the options. I ordered the Benjii toast. Thephenomenal bread was topped with fresh homemade guac, soft-boiled egg, sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, and topped off withsmoked sea salt. This knife-and-fork worthy meal held me over until lunch and I enjoyed every single bite. If I had onesuggestion it would be to have the eggs warmed a bit, but that's admittedly a personal preference. The coffee was bold enoughto stand up to the toast. I'll be coming here next time, and every time I'm lucky enough to be in Albuquerque. Read more
