The service was excellent. This is generally not my first choice for New Mexican food, but much to my delight they really do... have great beef tacos. Their sopapillas are quite tasty as well. I will be sure to order the taco plate on my next visit. Read more
I brought my husband here for lunch and was very disappointed. I ordered the stuffed sopa (ground beef w/pappas) & red chile.... They don't put beans in their sopa, what?? I had a most wonderful experience in my favorite Chili Capital of the American West! This place is a neighborhood gem and a... local favorite. I've been to other locations but this is my favorite. They even sell their own salsa by the jar. I had thecarne adovada plate. I added two eggs and potatos. A side of sopapillas instead of the tortillas. It came with refried beans. I cleaned my plate. Placing the order online was super easy and quickly, very convenient that it gives you the wxact time for pick up as well! We... ordered two bowls of posole which was good it could have had more chile in it, it was a bit bland for myself but they did put alittle bit of oregano I believe it was with chile pecquin (excuse the spelling lol) as well as onions. I cut up a lime we hadfrom home, it came with a choice of sopapilla or tortilla, we picked tortilla. I also ordered a side order of queso which themenu showed it came with chips and when I got to the car I checked and no chips so when I went back in the girl said it didn'tcome with chips so I had to pull the menu up to show her which she apologized. I also ordered natillas which I haven't tried yetbut it looks yummy only thing it didn't have any vanilla wafers but I'm sure it'll be good! Update to the natillas...don'trecommend them! Haven't been to a Garcia's Kitchen in years and now I remember why. Finished up helping a friend with some ballooning in the... morning and they took us to lunch. We were handed some silverware and menus by somebody wearing a mask who pointed off into thedistance after talking with them for 20 or 30 seconds we figured out we were supposed to go select our own seat. Once we satdown we did not get somebody to come by and get our drink order for about 5 minutes although there weren't very many peoplethere. We ordered our food and it showed up and the quality and taste is not to their standards for many years ago. Everythingwas just okay, nothing was extraordinary and the four of us all agreed it was one of the poorer meals we've had in years. Seeyou again in a few more years I guess. Read more
