I love that the menu here uses seasonal and fresh ingredients. Interesting summer/fall dishes like stuffed squash blossoms and... watermelon salad. Portions are not huge, which is a plus...healthy servings of healthy food! So glad that this place opened updowntown. Read more

Every experience I?ve ever had at Hartford Square has been exceptional from start to finish. Had some friends that wanted to try... a new spot yesterday with healthy options and caffeine. Naturally, I recommended we go to Hartford Square because neither ofthem had ever been. I ordered the Basic Breakfast ($10) and a cup of coffee ($2ish) and was again floored with the quality ofthe food. The clean, simple, and warm ambience make for a comfortable place to catch up or a quick stop during lunch time. Thisplace is a gem! Read more
Good if you like organic options, but felt a bit over priced. We sat outside in the a.m. and it was beautiful. I had a chicken... burger that tasted great, but barely held itself together. The plain bottomless coffee was very weak, like water. It was prettycheap for bottomless though, and they offered an excellent variety of fixens. So overall three stars, but the coffee was morelike 1.5. Read more
