A friend took us here for lunch and it was great. The line to order went fast and they were quick to bring the sandwiches out.... I had the extreme and it was a really great sandwich. Was so big you can take the rest home for later. The service was awesome. Overall a great place that I would recommend to anyone Read more

Two meals two slam dunks. We had the Taos sandwich and the California salad. Great flavors and solid portions. The pesto that... came with the salad was very very good. Lastly the sodas (not coke or pepsi) and ice tea were also quite good. Read more

The best sandwiches!! This is a must try. My personal favorite is the Monty Hall. Turkey, green chile, cheddar, lettuce,... tomatoes, mayo on a baguette. OMG, so delicious!! Extremely friendly people with great service. Stop by, you won't regret it. Read more

2nd time at the Oak Tree and it?s just as good as the 1st time. I ordered the roasted raspberry chipotle wrap as a sandwich... instead. My husband got the Al Capone. We both loved our meals. My boys ordered burgers and devoured them before I could take apic. The owner is super friendly and fun to chat with. So so good! Read more

I absolutley LOVE Oak Tree Café...everything served here is fresh fresh fresh....from their salads to their burgers (Janet's... green chile bacon cheeseburger is too die for) and their sandwiches are delicious too! What a great local treasure on Alameda.BTW while I was eating I saw the same tables being wiped down two and three times so cleanliness is exceptional here! Highlyrecommend it! Read more

I work not too far from here so every once in a while i?ll call in an order for my lunch break. The same woman answers the phone... every time but she is so. rude. The first time i called in an order she told me I should?ve called earlier, and today she toldme I should?ve called it in later. She even told me I should call her back to remind her to put in my order. I usually excuseher being rude because the food is really good, and i know they?re understaffed right now. Today, however, I showed up on timeto pick up my food and she let me know after I paid that my food had been sitting there for a while. It was cold. Not anenjoyable experience. They need to find a way to staff up the place (maybe try paying your employees more.) Read more

Outstanding family owned and operated business! Over the many years I?ve been coming to Oak Tree Cafe I can honestly say that... I?ve never had a meal I didn?t love. The food is consistently high quality, and delicious. I typically order whatever the dailyspecial that they are offering but honestly you can?t go wrong with anything on their diverse menu. The sandwiches aremouthwatering. The salads are always refreshing and are usually large enough to have leftovers. The dining area is always cleanand well-equipped for gatherings family or casual business meetings. They also have a great patio with a view of the majesticSandia mountains. As for drink options they offer a full line of premium fountain sodas and several beers are always ontap. Perhaps more impressive than the food is the service. This is a family owned and operated establishment and you can feelthe love and care from the moment you walk in the door. You can almost always spot the husband / wife / daughter trio workingtirelessly to ensure a great experience. Always with a warm smile and kind disposition. If you are a regular they will typicallyaddress you by name. This is a rare occurrence in the post-Covid world we live in. This restaurant is a 30 minute drive for mebut it?s always worthwhile. I can?t recommend this restaurant enough. Read more
