First time at Sal's and can't wait to return. I came to get a menu and was helped by being given a to-go menu. I met the owner... while waiting and he was extremely kind and helpful by showing me the restaurant and a bar that were connected to each other soI could wait while my order was prepared. I would give this place a six star if possible. I am not a pizza fan but this was really really good. My partner eats a lot of... pizza and we can say this is the best one in Albuquerque. This is like coming to your friends house that are super hosts andthat cook amazing. this is a family business that enjoy what they do, their service is so great that you feel reallycomfortable like no other place here. We have a special person in our family and it is hard to go out to restaurants becausethere is a lack of empathy, but here is different. The food OMG!!!! Been going to Mimmo?s since the early 90?s. Always great food. Now that it?s Sal?s, the food and service is still good. I like... the updating of the restaurant and I must say that the bathroom is extremely clean. My only complaint is the portion size onthe chicken piccata dish. For the price it should include quite more chicken. Read more
What an unexpected treat! Morgan is amazing and saw that we were looking for 2 seats on the bar side of the restaurant. She... went out of the way to welcome us in and show us where we could squeeze in. A real community feel here! The absolutelydelicious food was icing on the cake!
