Food would EASILY be a 5 if all I judged was flavor and taste. Very good quality chicken, but too much condiments make a sloppy... sandwich. I ate 75-80% of it, only because at that point I would have needed a fork or spoon to finish. Too much condimentsturned it into that. Atmosphere was quiet (mid-afternoon), which I prefer, as well as dozens of photos of our heros; men andwomen serving (or did) our country. I highly recommend them. Read more
I got the large burrito. It wasn?t bad, but it was only about 2/3 filled. A little bit of a letdown for $10. My buddies got the... chicken sandwich and loved it. Maybe I?ll try that next time. Read more
I went here for a burrito and getting tacos, I didn?t know they had tacos. These barbacoa tacos are not true Mexican tacos more... like New Mexican tacos. They were good though, the meat is damn good. Average on the price. The customer service was not theworst but definitely not the greatest. I should try this chicken sandwich I keep hearing about. I had the chicken sandwich here and it is my new favorite spicy chicken sandwich. Excellent food. I want to come back and try... the burritos. Initially I was going to have a burrito but on the recommendation of the cashier I switched to the chickensandwich and did not regret it. Next time I have an opportunity I will be back. Read more
I got the barbecue burrito smothered with cheese and green chili, three chicken strips, and a large coke. Everything was amazing... period it was very fast and fresh and the coke was amazing. Lots of syrup but not too much. $18 for everything but I wouldorder it again. Read more
People aren't kidding when they say to try the chicken sandwich here. It's great! It's particularly unique with the bit of spice... they put in the sauce. The sandwich is larger than other fast food sandwiches and definitely hits the spot. Price is a bithigher than other competitors but is well with it. Simply put, if you want the best Chicken Sandwich in Albuquerque (and maybe in the US) come to Stipes. They also have a large... selection of New Mexican dishes that are probably just as amazing. I ordered the regular carne adovada breakfast burrito and a medium coffee. The burrito was delicious. The coffee was excellent... and hot. I would like to try more of the menu. Stripes is known for its chicken sandwich. The service was excellent also. Read more
