Update: Recently changed from Poke LuLu to Sushi Freak. The food is still fresh but the lead server was off putting, she seemed... to rush people and didn?t honor a military discount like every other sushi freak location. They are still using all of the PokeLuLu bowls and custom named items from the previous brand. I really liked this location before, disappointed and won?t bereturning to this location. Great lunch stop! My husband and I both got large bowls, my portions were a little smaller thanhis, but I think that is server dependent. Food was extremely fresh and all well stocked. The price is competitive to the otherlocations as well. Definitely enjoyed our visit and will be back. Read more
I went here and found a real poke bowl place in Albuquerque. I made my own poke bowl by selecting my own ingredients. The fish... and ingredients are fresh. They carry Aloha drinks, and sell Maui potato chips. This place is clean, service is fast andfriendly. A great addition to Albuquerque. Sushi Freak is my goto place for poke bowls. I grew up in HI and love this place. Gocheck them out. Sushi Freak even sells Poke Burritos. I have to try the Poke Burrito next time. This is my poke place in ABQ.The poke burrito was awesome! Sushi Freak is next to the UPS store on Academy/Wyoming. Still an awesome place 6 months later.Great parking. I went back and tried the Hakuna Poke Bowl and California roll. Awesome for vegans. The staff walked me through everything that was and wasn?t vegan. Only two of the sauces which were mayo... based and the macaroni weren?t. Delicious and filling. Read more
Stopped here on the way out of town and it was very tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and quick. Loved all the choices. ... It?s like Subway in the respect that you can basically just point to whatever you want behind the glass and they?ll put it inyour bowl! It was very reasonably priced and everything was very clean. We recently were in Hawaii eating poké bowls and thisplace honestly had more options than many places we went to there. It was DEFINITELY cheaper by a long shot too! Give it a try! Read more

Pokelulu is a very cute and attractive place to go have lunch. The food is pretty good, the fish taste fresh and the price very... competitive compared to Poki Poki. I?ve been 5 times here in the last month during my lunch break, the customer service isTERRIBLE. I?ve been serviced by different team members and, even if one in particular is worse, everyone seems to hate their jobhere. I do not feel welcomed and valued, even the day of my birthday I came here for my lunch break and I mentioned that to theteam member and she said ?happy birthday what do you want?? Plain, quick and cold. I?ve given this place many opportunities andeven if I really wanted to like it I think I?ll take my business back to Poki Poki. Read more
Neat little place,was not expecting to eat here but a friend suggested it. Didn't quite know what to eat,but decided on a create... your own bowl with salmon and spicy tuna and it worked out great! 10/11/2022: had carryout today from now Sushi Freak. Excellent service?two at a time waited on me. Had coconut shrimp, cream... cheese, rice, sprouts, ginger, avocado, in a poke sauce w spicy mayo. In and out under three minutes. I shall return! May 2022:Ordered for delivery from GrubHub for first time today. Got large bowl with shrimp in hottest sauce, edamame, Asian slaw,seaweed salad, onion crisps, fresh mango, marinated cucumber, purple rice, ginger. My eyes were bigger than my stomach...shouldhave ordered the smaller size, but yay, leftovers! Price very reasonable in comparison to other poke places in town and assomeone else mentioned, unlimited toppings for the most part at no extra charge unlike other places that charge extra foradditional standard toppings.
