We dined in this past Saturday evening and this is the place to be! The service is excellent! The sushi, dumplings, and pork... vegetable medley is excellent! Very affordable excellent food! 2 stars for it being edible. I placed my order via DoorDash. I called and specifically asked for no cucumbers on my rolls. They... said "ok!" and then I got... cucumbers in my rolls. If it's a big enough deal for me to call about it, maybe try... not doingit? Also, I eat A LOT of sushi. The rolls that I had (Buddha belly, Crunchy roll) were just OK. Something about the flavors wereoff for both. The avocado was not fresh (mushy and dark). Also, the Buddha roll was really wet so it fell apart/became messy themoment I picked it up. Read more
I've come here several times since they changed ownership some time ago. Finding myself there more n more these days. Great... quality sushi at reasonably low prices compared to others in town and even in other states! I've traveled much in the past 3months. Each time I'm drawn back to Sushiya over and over. Nice little spot overall, cute ambiance and attentive staff. Sushi quality was about 7/10, and unfortunately the prices were a... bit high. Most the rolls were uneventful, but we did order "the chef's mood" and it was great. The highlight was the beerprices. I believe a large Sapporo was ~$5.50.
