I'm very happy with what Upscale Burgers has done with the old Johnny Rockets. There are quite a few burgers and sandwiches on... the menu, and the burgers are fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The shake was good, albeit in a smaller portion thanother places in town. A large fry is enough for two, and they were tasty and not overdone. Service was friendly andresponsive. Upscale Burgers lives up to its name and creates a dining experience you'll go to the mall for, rather than arestaurant you'll only frequent because you were already in the mall. Read more

Bad. Many ingredients tastes like they came from whole foods and then resold to you at a higher price. The Chantilly cake on... display is dead on whole foods' product. The burger meat is decent but is ruined by the bun. It's so thick it dominates anypotential flavor. Every bite pushes all the other ingredients inside out the bottom of your into your hand. The bread alsotasted stale. The Brie Burger I bought also had big clot of dirt in it, which indicates the spring mix was not washed beforeserving. The brownie milkshake was made from low quality ice cream. There were so many ice crystals are running through it andmay as well have had ice cubes blended in. Honestly just go to five guys instead. Great burgers. I had the Bistro Burger, if you like a lot of beef you'll love this burger. Think pot roast on top of a perfectly... cooked burger pattie and that will give you a good idea of the scope of this sandwich. My dining partner had the ChipotleBurger. His comments were "there's a whole lot of flavors going on here, in a good way. He found it " refreshing ". He's lookingforward to another visit to try something else on the menu. Now why three stars. We arrived at 5pm on a Thursday and service ispretty much non existent. As you walk in there is no indication that you order at a kiosk iPad on the front counter. The staffthere saw us did not greet us or direct us to the kiosk until I asked if we were just supposed to sit anywhere. Once seated ourdrinks took about 10 minutes to come out. The burgers and fries about 10 min later. The fries were cold and greasy yet crunchy,weird. The sweet potato fries were just OK. I had to get up to get utensils and I had to go to the counter to get a refill on mydrink despite there being several "servers" behind the counter. So to recap, really good burgers, greasy cold fries, badservice. If you can tolerate that, you'll enjoy an exceptional burger. Read more

Decided to wander around the mall and had no idea this place was here since I never go to cottonwood! Very good desserts!... Ordered the green chili cheese wedges and those were amazing. Turtle shake and brownie Sunday were both great as well. Willreturn to actually try a meal! Read more

We happened upon "Upscale Burgers & Shakes" at the Cottonwood Mall and gave it a try. It is located in the spot where Johnny... Rockets used to be. Several of us got burgers and we shared regular and sweet potato fries. I gotta say that the burgers andregular fries deserve 5+ stars, but the shake we ordered to share (a turtle shake) was one of the worst I've ever had anddefinitely not worth $6 as it was icy and watery...not creamy as you might expect of an "upscale" shake. I commented about itto our server who let us know that she was told it was possibly due to being made with (homemade) ice cream from the bottom ofthe container. We declined having another one made because we were already done with our meal and I was surprised to see thecharge on our bill since we didn't consume it. I would definitely eat there again...but would hesitate ordering a shake unlessI saw one made that wasn't an icy mess like the one we got. Read more

First time here and we loved it! I had the Chicken & Waffles and the Chipotle syrup is delicious! The staff was friendly and... attentive and everyone at our table was very impressed as well. We?re visiting family and will come back here again the nexttime we?re in town. Read more
