Very homie place and great food. Customer service is excellent. The owner Jimmy came out and sat next to us to explain the... food(since it was our first time) and was telling us what plates he sold the most. The waitress "Paula" was very nice andhelpful also. My wife got the enchiladas and I got the "Gerald's APD special" which is a burger steak toped with fries andcheese whit your choice of red or green chile, I got both which is called Christmas. I took a picture of the APD special, it wasso delicious. Next time I will try the sheriff's special which instead of the burger steak it's with pork chops????. Read more

One of the last old time diners. I loved to come to this place with my grandfather when I was still in single digits. So, steak... fingers with enchiladas was my choice. Three steak fingers cooked to a crispy perfection outside and tender, juicy meat insidealong two cheese enchiladas made Christmas (red and green chile for those that are just passing through New Mexico) and with afried egg on top. Served with crispy fried potatoes and beans, chased down with the finest diner coffee anywhere! A verysubstantial meal, indeed. The chef knows his stuff so well, his hands fly over the flattop while greeting customers that sit atthe counter. I really loved the atmosphere ???? The staff was very friendly! We received great service from all the staff. The cook was very... kind and made sure everything tasted great. An ok diner, I tried the chicken fried steak. It is far from healthy, the batter was way too thick and salty for my taste.... Biscuit also not great. There was only one other table sitting when I was there and the servers were not at all attendant. Read more
