Reviews for Kraemer & Kin in Alburgh, VT

We've been meaning to stop in and check out Kraemer & Kin's new location and restaurant. We're so glad we did. Sandwiches come... with chips rather than fries, which I prefer as carb-heavy fries always make me sleepy. The burger was wonderful, especially thesourdough bun. The only thing that would have made it better is grilling the bun first. Beers were great. I adored the lilacsour, but the Black IPA remains a favorite. Read more

Started off so well... very friendly staff, pretty setting. We we were 1 of 4 tables when we walked in and ordered 2 flights to... start. Beer was great. Our server took our food order shortly after and we enjoyed the dining area as it became busier. Fastforward to 90 minutes later, we are still waiting for food and have had no server come back to check on us and no offer of wateryet, so we asked for our check and meals to go. Well, our food was never entered. That happens, we get it. Decided to pay thecheck and go ...lovely staff offered us complimentary pretzels and of course we said ok. 10 minutes later, no pretzels, 2 asksfor water, we went to cash out and proceeded to get a check with a charge for the "complimentary " pretzels. Oy!!! At thispoint, I just want to go back to the house so I walked to the car. Hubby paid for 2 flights, we got some dry freezer burnedpretzels and probably won't go back. Read more

We stopped off at Kramer & Kin in Alburgh on a beautiful sunny Saturday during a drive through the Islands. The staff was very... friendly and the beer was delicious! We were also very impressed by the food. We thought the overall aesthetic was fantastic andyou really can't beat the view of the golf course and the lake beyond. We followed this up with a stop at nearby Alburgh DunesState Park. A great day! Read more

What a great brewery! Family owned and operated with such a cool ambiance and vibe. The beers were all equally great and all of... their seasonal beers are made with locally sourced ingredients that fit this place just right. The head brewmaster came out andhad us try a few seasonal beers including a spruce ale they had just brewed. Very friendly and inviting staff and atmosphere, you really can?t ask for more just going to a brewery for the first time and being treated like a regular. The whole place wassuper clean and had sort of a rustic farm meets floral decor feel. Highly recommend stopping by to try a few beers if your inthe area and looking for a great community based brewery! Read more

Craft beer in Vermont is outstanding, but Kraemer and Kin take the concept of locally sourced ingredients to another level.... Their beer list often changes but always highlights unique agrucultural ingredients that will satisfy your taste buds. Checktheir website for the newest brews and also which food truck will be on site (we hade great burrito bowls during our visit.Heather met us with a smile and shared a bit of their vision as she poured me a flight, and Kevin was helpful as I order somebeer to go. Definitely a must stop when you are on the islands! Read more

This is an excellent small nano brewery in a beautiful location on Grand Isle in a very old defunct catholic church. It's run... by Levi and Heather who brew 3 to 6 beers on tap. All beers were delicious and easy to drink. They had a vendor outside thathad wonderful authentic polish food. With the scenery around the brewery of the bay and open landscape in the back, it waswell worth the two hour trip there and wasn't too expensive. I highly recommend this out of the way brewery.
