Great food and friendly staff. There are a variety of drinks available, and they were mixed expertly. The brisket was... perfectly, tenderly cooked and well seasoned. The green beans were fine.. the house salad had a large variety of ingredients,all perfectly balanced with a house prepared ranch, and I would say the salad is worth the trip alone. Read more

Me and a friend visited torch lake and figured we would try some of the local restaurants. Blue Water Bistro was closest and it... was a great choice! We ordered lasagna and Four Seasons pizza. Which I would recommend! We had to wait maybe 30min. For food butwe weren’t in a rush as this was a mini vacation for us and the food was fresh/hot and delicious! We tried to eat at the bistro was an hour and a 1/2 wait to get a seat. So decided to go to the pizzeria part and ordered quite... possibly two of the worst meatball subs my wife and I have ever had. Paid $31.00 dollars for those two subs, the sub bread wasburned and hard as a rock. The meatball subs were slightly different and they were not marked so when we got home to eat them wecould not tell who's sub were whose. This was our first visit to this place and will no doubt be our last!!! I also might addthe person behind the order counter was not friendly. I had heard great comments about this place from the other guests at the Inn where I was staying. I had to try. I really... thought in the name of the place it would be seafood so that was disappointing. It's more of an Italian restaurant. I ordereda specialty drink before looking at the menu and it really didn't go with the food. They do have an extensive wine list. I hadthe pesto caprese with mozzarella balls. It ended up being a lot of pesto and a big glob of mozzarella that the pasta was stuckin. It was good. Not much for a vegetarian to choose. I would maybe give it a second try and order wine. Such a cool place and the environment is so awesome, but the food was a real let down. The chicken was dry and the lasagna was... more pasta than anything else. Which is bummer because the little meat and the sauce that it had in it tasted so good!! I reallyexpected more for a bistro specially for a dish close to $20!!! I had been to other bistros before, paid $15-$18 so the pricedidn't bother me, it just really disappointed me!! Great staff, great place, food needs work. Everything about this place was fantastic from the food, to the staff, to the atmosphere. My fiance and I sat outside and we... were little nervous when we saw a guy with a guitar set up right by our table because we were expecting to hear mediocre coversongs being blasted out of the speakers. Instead, we were happily surprised to hear a beautiful acoustic performance. Then ourfood came out and we agreed it was one of the best meals we've had in quite some time. My fiance said the lasagna I orderedtasted just like the one his Italian grandma used to make (which means a lot because she set his standards very high!). I don'tremember the name of my dessert, but it was basically the best snickerdoodle I've ever had in my life topped with fresh creamand berries (picture included because it was presented too well not to take one).
