I ordered a dinner for 4 last nite that includes chicken chow mein, when I opened the container I could not find one piece of... chicken, I contacted the restaurant and spoke to the owner who proceeded to say that was impossible and called me a liar! Thenhung up on me! We have been ordering from this restaurant for over 20 years which used to be Dragon Fort. The restaurant haschanged ownership several times in the past few years, the prices have gone rhe size of the portions and quality have gone down.I will never order from Dragon House again, after telling him (the owner) how long we have been their customer and I've neverbeen treated in such a manner is when he hung up! The wait for food is atrocious. Estimated 15 min, and after an hour and a half we , and a bunch of other people waiting, just... cancelled. They need to stop accepting orders they cannot fill in a reasonable timeframe. They’ve always been slow, but thisis next level and totally unacceptable. Couldn’t tell you how the food is anymore. Average sized portions, prices were high, food was average, service was great. Food was ready in a decent amount of time. About... 30 minutes for takeout. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They had a few people waiting around dinner time. The chow meinwas average, the barbecue pork fried rice was great and full of flavor but had an insane amount of peas, the almond chicken wasgood with an unusual twist, they sprinkle sugar on top, in all my years of ordering Chinese food no one else has done that. Theyblend the sugar with the crushed almonds for the topping. It reminds me of the sugary coating on donuts. It actually tastedpretty good. I was not a fan of the honey garlic pork. My usual place in Surrey puts on a generous coating of sauce leaving apool of sauce in the bottom of the container. They're all sticky and dripping with flavor and you can spoon the excess sauce inthe container over the food on your plate. But the honey garlic pork at this place was almost dry. I couldn't taste the honey orgarlic at all. I also wasn't a fan of the size of the pork pieces in the honey garlic pork. For me the smaller the better. Ilike the nice crispy ones. The pork chunks here were very large. I got a few super long ones the size of chicken strips. Theyshould be diced much smaller. The pieces were so large it just wasn't appetizing. The chunks look like chicken wings. Thatspring rolls I guess are hit and miss. We ordered two. One was perfect nice and crispy and the other one was completely soggy. Idon't know what happened there. We stopped in for Spring rolls. Was told it was meat spring rolls. When we got it. it was actually egg rolls. 97% vegetables.... Hardly any meat & extremely oily not to mention it was pricey. We felt ripped off. We also ordered their prawn Dim sum. Thatwas really nice. Read more

got here around 11:45am and only had to wait 15 minutes for my table. Definitely worth coming on the earlier side of lunch, when... we left there were a ton of people waiting outside. Food was amazing and for an amazing price too. Dumplings were great and thesesame chicken was so crispy! They're fast with bringing food as well! Read more
